Jolifjellet
Jolifjellet is a quiet, forest-crowned mountain peak rising to 766 metres above the small settlement of Rindalsskogen in Rindal municipality, Trøndelag. It is one of the lower hills that screen the northern side of the main Rindal valley, a landscape of birch and spruce, bog and cabin tracks rather than dramatic bare summit ridges. The name appears on lists of Rindal's summits and as a landmark viewed from the holiday-cabin clearings of nearby Rørdalen. For a walker it represents the gentle, less-travelled face of 'the gateway to Trollheimen': an easy climb out of forest into open hillside, with long views over the river country where the Tiåa and the Lomunda join to become the Sunna.
