Seefelder Joch
Perched at about 2,060 m on a shoulder of the Karwendel above Seefeld, the Seefelder Joch is a high viewing point you can reach almost effortlessly by cable car. From its panoramic swing and open ridge you look out over the Seefeld Plateau and a wall of Tirol peaks, making it one of the region's most rewarding viewpoints for the little effort it asks. A few minutes' walk from the Jochbahn gondola station brings you to the swing, a favourite photo spot with an unbroken view of the surrounding summits. Confident walkers can push on along the exposed ridge to the Seefelder Spitze (2,221 m), while those who prefer to stay comfortable can simply soak in the panorama before riding the lifts back down.
