Borsjoen
Børsjøen is a small, forest-ringed trout lake set at 355 metres in northern Selbu, in the Trøndelag uplands of central Norway. Barely a square kilometre across and fed by thin mountain burns, it has the still, secluded feel of a backwoods tarn rather than a grand reservoir — a place that draws anglers, cyclists and quiet-nature seekers instead of tour buses. Its appeal is simple and honest: a healthy wild-trout population you can fish from a boat (with the local card), open fishing huts on the shore, a toll road that runs right up to the east bank, and its position as a high point on the Børsjørunden, a marked mountain-biking loop out of the village of Innbygda.
