Kulevannet
Kulevannet is a small, quiet forest lake tucked into the woodland belt known as Fjella, in Indre Østfold municipality east of Mysen. Sitting at about 190 metres above sea level and covering roughly 0.28 km², it is the kind of understated Norwegian skogsvann (woodland pond-lake) that locals reach for on a warm summer afternoon: a swim in still, dark water, a fishing line off the bank, and pine forest closing in on all sides. It is not a resort or a list-end attraction, but a genuine backwoods destination for swimming, trout and perch fishing, and unhurried forest walks, with a simple lakeside cabin rental at Kulevannssaga right on the water. The nearest town and a handy base for supplies is Mysen.
