Kemer Pond
Kemer Pond (Kemer Göleti) is a small, calm reservoir sitting on the western edge of Kemer, one of Turkey's quietest highland towns, in Burdur province. Unlike the busy coastal Kemer on the Antalya Riviera, this Kemer is a farming and herding settlement perched around 1,165 metres in the western Mediterranean hills, and its little pond reflects that unhurried, upland character. It is the kind of low-key waterside that local families and passing travellers stop at for fresh air and a moment of stillness rather than for ticketed attractions. The water is essentially a storage pond fed for the surrounding fields, so there is no resort fringe here — just an open sheet of water backed by the gentle slopes and juniper-country that define this part of Burdur. That simplicity is the appeal: you can see the whole pond in a few steps, watch light move across the surface, and treat it as a peaceful pause on a road trip between Burdur, the lakes plateau and the villages toward Antalya.
