Lac des Oudins
Lac des Oudins is a gentle valley swimming lake at Villargondran, in the Maurienne valley of the French Alps (Savoie). Rather than a wild high-mountain tarn, it is a relaxed, family-friendly 'plan d'eau'—a recreational lake ringed by peaks where you can swim, sunbathe on the beach, picnic and linger over a drink at the lakeside bar-restaurant. Admission is free, and during the summer season swimming is supervised every day from 12:30 to 18:00, making it an easy, low-effort stop for a hot afternoon. The lake also has a fishing pond and an accessible entrance and parking area.
