We had an amazing stay at Commonage Villas! The villa was spotless, comfortable, and had a breathtaking view. Our group had an unforgettable time in Queenstown, and staying here made it even more special. The location was perfect and the service was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back and will gladly recommend Commonage Villas to friends and family!

Returning to Commonage Villa after five years, I'm sorry to say that what once attracted me most about this place has disappeared, and the quality of service has declined drastically. I am very disappointed. Many of the services that were once available, such as private chef services, massages, and the like, are now gone. The taxi vouchers for guests have been discontinued, and the pre-arrival emails are no longer as detailed, warm, and welcoming as they used to be. Even additional requests sent via booking platforms twice went unanswered. After check-in, when we needed to contact staff, there was no information booklet or landline in the room as used to —just a cold, impersonal QR code. Even the fresh flowers on the table have been replaced with plastic ones. Unbelievable. When I called via mobile, the staff's indifferent attitude made me feel like as if I were disturbing them and they couldn’t wait for me to hang up. If my previous stay at Commonage left me with the impression of a beautiful place offering warm and unobtrusive service, this time it felt like the current level of service simply doesn’t justify the price. My husband and I had wonderful memories from our last stay, which is why I specifically recommended it to my family for this trip. Little did I know that aside from the higher price, everything else has gone downhill. Truly disappointing.

We had a fabulous stay here. Villa number 14 - can be made up as a 2 or 3 bedroom home but we had it as a one bedroom. The views are just stunning and the accommodation is very well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The company is very responsive and easily reachable. It’s at the top of a very steep hill. We walked down and got Ubers back - not expensive. Would highly recommend.

Lovely villas, equipped with everything you could possibly need for two families travelling with babies. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the views over Queenstown were lovely. We had a few issues with wifi connection and the washing machine but these were resolved very quickly by the managers. Just be aware that it is a very steep walk down the hill into town so we found ourselves driving or getting an Uber. The views and comfort made up for it!

Beautiful accommodation for 3 couples. Amazing views over the city and the water. It was fun to be able to cook and enjoy a few meals in while enjoying the beauty. It was also nice to have easy access to free laundry. You need to be in shape to hike up from the city, but well worth it.

This place is unbelievably amazing. All of us were in awe when we checked in and couldn’t believe our perfect choice of stay for the next 4nights. The whole apartment was so tastefully done up and we truly appreciate the lift inside the apartment. Pic dun do justice at all. It’s a pity we don’t travel to NZ (Queenstown) often , else we trust this will be the only place we will stay. Was hoping if there’s another similar apartment in other countries , we will definitely book it. Love the stay so so much. I am still staying here while writing this review , so sad to check out tomorrow and thank you for the later check out time of 11am , usual 10am. Appreciate it. Book this! You won’t regret ! 👍👍

The Commonage Villas were amazing! |Perfect for our family and the view was incredible. We would definitely stay again.|Service and communication were great. Great walking tracks around and only a short drive to the center of Queenstown. |Thanks for the great 4 nights we experienced in Queenstown.

Absolutely lovely villa. Stunning views, top quality furniture and fittings and spotlessly clean. The villa had a warm and comfortable vibe. At the end of a long ski day we really looked forward to coming home. Check in and check out were seamless. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
