We had a fantastic stay at Virpi Villa! Even though we arrived late, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and provided us with the key at midnight. The villa was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Great location and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend!

Be careful what you book/what you expect! I think they have an extra house in the garden you can rent, which from the pictures looks very good. But if you book only a room, it will be in the second floor of the owners house with no separation from their space (only a curtain to their area) and the kitchen actually is the owners kitchen, that was weird for us and not exactly what we expected because we felt like we intrude their peace and privacy, everytime you come and go you pass their living room. Not at all because they gave us this feeling but it's just our personalities I guess 😅 It was okay for a night, but wouldn't stay longer. The owners are friendly and their little dog was very very cute. Sidenote: none of the pictures here on Google shows the double room in the second floor. Nearly all pictures of the modern rooms are from the extra building and have nothing to do with the double room we got.

Terrible experience. Body hair from previous guests in beds. Bathroom dirty - very dirty , we didn’t date to take shower! Towels instead of white, gray, dark gray with dirt. We didn’t sleep all night: two kids, two adults. No excuses, no refund.

Terrible experience! Very very dirty! Disgusting bed sheets with body hair on them. Bathroom floor and sink - body hair! We didn’t sleep all night, didn’t know where to lie down. No excuses. No money refund. Just a nightmare. DON’T GO! Towels instead of clean white: dark gray blackish with dirt!

We stayed here during our visit in mid January. We had booked a room however when we arrived we had been upgraded and had our own private wooden villa! We were so surprised and so happy! I really enjoyed the under floor heating which kept our feet nice and toasty and the shower was really powerful. We even had our own little kitchenette where we were able to cook breakfast and lunch. We chose to eat out for our evening meals but we could've stayed in and enjoyed dinner in. There was tea, coffee and cereal already there which was a really nice touch. Everything about our villa was just perfect. I haven't slept so well in ages! Very quiet and cosy. I picked Villa Virpi because I wanted to stay out of the centre of Rovaniemi. This was just right. It was a 15 - 20 min walk to the centre. I really enjoyed the walk into the centre in the snow. The tours we did knew where we were staying and either picked us up or we were able to walk into Rovaniemi to get picked up. Highly recommend coming and staying here!

Its a great place to spend your vacation in Roavniemi. It’s also near the city center so you can also visit there by walk. The host was really nice and welcoming. Despite arriving late due to some circumstances and we still got the key and had a smooth check-in.

Me and my girlfriend had a very nice stay at Villa Virpi! It's a very cosy and warm place with nice people. And their dog is very cute! We recommend staying here if you travel to Rovaniemi - it is very close to Santa Claus Village (10 minute car ride) and less than 5 minutes walk to the supermarket. Rovaniemi town is only a 5 minute car ride also! Thanks Villa Virpi, we had a great time!
