We have just returned from 1 week at Casa Saina in Rovinj, Croatia and couldn't fault it. The apartment itself has been beautifully restored to a high standard and is fully equipped with everything you need including air conditioning, hair dryer and safe. The service was fantastic and Elena was really helpful, booking airport taxis for us and giving us recommendations and suggestions for the local area. The apartment has it's own bikes for hire and a safe bike store which was a great added bonus. We were able to hire two good quality mountain bikes for around £7/day but you will get a discount if you want to hire them for longer. The location was brilliant in a quiet residential area, 10 minutes from the beach and the harbour and old town. The area felt very safe and we enjoyed our short stroll back at the short the evening. As a young couple we wanted to be close to all the action but the old town also very noisy and hot at night. This apartment was a perfect distance to be able to go out and enjoy the nightlife, then retreat to the quiet. We spent a lot of time on the terrace - which was very relaxing. The immediate buildings next to the apartment are not that attractive (some old concrete blocks) however, this did in no way stop us from enjoying the warm breeze in the daytime or evening. There are plenty of beautiful views around Rovinj, we didn't need one from our balcony. There is a mini market around 150metres from the apartment which has everything you might need. Having spent a log time looking at various apartments, this one by far offered us the greatest value and we really couldn't fault it. Highly recommended.

We came to Casa Saina in early March, when the tourist season had not yet started, but despite this we were impressed by the preparation and hospitality of the Elena (lady of the house). A nice patio where you can sit in the evenings, a nice and well maintained balcony. There is even a pet cat that walks under the window, the children are sure to be entertained and happy:) You can see that the house was furnished with love and trepidation, in the most authentic Mediterranean style! The lady of the house is very attentive and always ready to help or answer any questions you may have.We liked it very much and we plan to stay in this place again next time:)

We stayed in this beautiful apartment five days. The old town is a little far, aprox. 10-15 min walk. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you need. Very nice style surprised us. Our room was a perfect distance to be able to go out and enjoy the nightlife, then retreat to the quiet. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner used this as a base while we explored the local area by car. Our flight was delayed and Elena and her husband were so helpful in helping us check in after the allocated time. We were given a map and advice on where to go and that helped a lot. The apartment was clean and well looked after and looks beautiful. It’s easily to walk to the old town and the harbour from here and there are bikes to use if walking is too much. |When we come back to this area we will definitely be coming back here. |Couldn’t be happier

The open-plan apartments have been beautifully renovated with exposed beams and partial brickwork. The décor has been tastefully chosen to color co-ordinate for each apt. individually. Rooms are clean, spacious and functional with plenty of drawer and hanging space. It is a 15 minute walk into the Old Town from the apt. Elena, the manager, was very helpful with planning what to see and do and willing to answer all questions about Rovinj and the surrounding areas. She suggested a very good restaurant, Maestral Ronhill, right on the edge of the harbor with water-front tables and wonderful views over Rovinj Old Town. Also lovely sunset views. The only negative to Casa Saina is that the views from the balconies are of a nasty concrete apartment block. Our travelling companions had a marginally better view from their second floor apt. than we had from our first floor one and they had a side window with a reasonable view but it is a shame that the lack of view marrs what are otherwise excellent apartments.

3 friends and I stayed in the two top floor apartments at Casa Saina for 6 nites at the end of May. It is a wonderful place with a great feeling and an easy 10 minute walk to the old town. The apartments are clean and well taken care of and Elena, the manager is just a gem who is incredibly helpful and kind. The only negative comment i have is there is no view and internet conection was spotty inside the top floor apts.. There is a grocery store a block away and parking right outside. Elena takes care of laundry for a small fee Rovinj and Istria is just a fabulous place to go and a very central and beautiful place from which to visit the other wonderful spots around!!!

We stayed 2 nights in this wonderful apartment and the owner is most helpful. When we lost our power adapter, she went home and brought her own phone charger. Each apartment is a studio with a bedroom that is almost separate, but opens to a kitchen and living area. Excellent location just a few minutes from shops and restaurants. It's a 10 minute walk into the old town. The owner will also give good suggestions for restaurants. Lots of free parking on site.

Reality of the apartment and house itself match the photos and meet with expectations. very nice gesthouse lady takeing care of everything living the next door. perfect location, as it is half way to the city center and similar distance to the beaches area. I very much like the style of whole apartment house and the apartments it self, each has special color styling (Lemon was our) and all equipment fetch this style. All rooms are facing sunset :)
