I stayed at Grand Park Hotel Rovinj and I really enjoyed my experience there. The hotel is very modern, stylish, and feels completely new. The design is beautiful and everything looks well thought out. My room was very comfortable, and the highlight was the incredible view of the city of Rovinj from the balcony. It was truly breathtaking, especially in the evening. It is possible to walk to Rovinj along the promenade. The walk is very pleasant and offers beautiful views along the way. The town of Rovinj is also very charming and beautiful. It has a special atmosphere, and it is very nice to walk around the old streets. There are many good restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food and relax. There is also a beautiful park near the hotel with incredibly fresh air. It is a perfect place for a walk and relaxation. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The hotel offers a great combination of luxury, comfort, and amazing views, and I would happily recommend it.

Want the wow factor? Just walk in to Reception where the glass windows overlook the most spectacular view of the heart of the town centre where the church of St Euphemia sits proudly at the top of the hill. The rooms are quirky in style, with industrial cement walls and an Emperor bed that is like sleeping on a huge pillow, gorgeous bathrooms with a huge shower head and Molton Brown toiletries. We had a balcony with a seaview and was worth the extra - the balcony is a great size. Breakfast is one of the best you will find anywhere with a fabulous choice of cold stations and a menu for everything else delivered fresh and hot. We dined one night in the Terrace Restaurant, Expensive but food was good although there are so many incredible restaurants within Rovinj you can walk in to most of them but the really good ones do need a reservation. Had cocktails at the hotel on the terrace - great views again. Plus the pool area is fabulous. A 50m pool that flows inside to out and was beautifully warm. A colder pool with views across to Rovinj town that made you just stand and stare. Great food by the pool and they replenished towels on a regular basis meaning that you never had to really sit on a wet towel for long if you didn't want to. Will we be back - we really hope so. Probably one of my favourite hotels and destinations in the world - and we've been all over!

I have now stayed at this hotel twice. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely design and stunning views. After our second stay I completed a feedback questionnaire, which was requested by the hotel, and I gave some honest feedback about where possible improvements could be made. I received a response which, unfortunately, appeared to have been written by AI. Clearly my opinion was not as valued as they said. For the cost of the hotel I felt that the room was not as clean as it should be. I really don't need my sheets and towels changing daily but, on many days, housekeeping did not even provide clean cups and glasses. There is an issue at the pool and the beach with the over entitled guests at the hotel taking sunloungers and then not using them. One particular couple would take the same FIVE sunloungers every day for the two of them to use. On one occasion I counted a group of five using SEVENTEEN towels between them. This is a reflection of the type of guest at the hotel (over entitled spending all the time taking selfies and admiring themselves). This is not the hotels fault but the staff didnt do anything about it and it meant there were often no sunloungers or towels available. On the whole the staff are very helpful and efficient, although it didn't feel as though the level of service always reflected the cost and supposed standard of the hotel. This was a shame as it is otherwise a lovely place.

Beautiful hotel, great location with easy walk into Old Town Rovinj. Staff is friendly and attentive. Rooms are lovely, we had a room overlooking the water with a plunge pool on balcony. That was ideal given our visit was in July and it was very warm & humid. There is a small but well equipped gym, great outdoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs. Great breakfast each morning - plenty of healthy options, so much variety. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

As you walk into the reception on the 5th level from the main entrance located at the rear of the hotel you are greeted to one of the best hotel views you are likely to experience. When you explore the rest of the hotel you will find an infinity pool with the same views. The service is good, the food is good, you will not be disappointed. The only negative is our room had a fantastic veiw, obscured by foliage for the most part. Would we recommend? Yes, would we return? Yes

Incredible hotel, one of the best I’ve stayed at in all of Europe. Very intelligently designed, rooms are spacious, staff is super helpful, and right on the water. Don’t miss out on the breakfast buffet, and if you have dietary restrictions like me, just ask the staff and they will make sure you leave happy and fat. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it.

What happened to Maistra? There is a trend online of folks noticing a significant drop in quality in Maistra hotels in Rovinj and I had a chance to experience the same on my stay in July of 2026. Magistrate and its hotels used to be a beacon of unique tourist experience, a proper attempt at a fight against the corporate multinational approach to hotel industry. Sadly, it seems that beacon has lost its shine to corporate greed itself and it will not be surprising when Hilton or Marriot takes them over. Grand Park Hotel is a spectacular property in a spectacular location. For that, you pay a hefty price and in another (pre-shrinkflation) world you would expect and receive impeccable service in a meticulously maintained hotel. The reality is that the service ranges from exceptional to staff ignoring you. Poor maintenance resulted in sewer backup with associated lingering smells in the hallway (especially floor 1). Triage fixes such as fans (see pic) do nothing. Beautifully furnished bathroom is a place you will want to spend least time possible since the lack of ventilation and the already mentioned plumbing issue creates an aroma of a ripe gym lockerroom. The view is also not there as it is obstructed by unfortunately placed pine trees. Our attempt to change rooms was met with an anemic explanation that the hotel is full and a luke warm promise that if anything opens up they will let us know.
