Very good hotel walking distance from the historical city center and very close to Alameda park. The hotel is located in a quiet area, close to several supermarkets. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, excellent breakfast and very helpful staff - all you need for a relaxing stay. The only improvement point I would highlight is the air conditioning - it is not working well and the room gets overheated on a warm summer day

This was my second stay at this hotel, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lobby is beautiful and creates a great first impression. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely kind, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from. I’m always happy to come back whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommended!

Pleasant although a bit outdated. Don’t understand reviews complaining about friendliness as our check in with Ariel was polite, friendly and pleasant and Ramon was outstanding when I showed up at reception at 4 am in need of medical assistance.

The hotel was great, clean, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. It was about 25 min walk to the old town, and we had to plan our day around that.

Our stay in this hotel was great. The hotel looks pretty good, modern, clean, spacious.. We checked in at 9 pm so I dont know how fast the check in process is. Staff is very friendly and talkative. The cuisine is good, the breakfast are standard and I have also had 2 dinners which were also standard, nothing special, but I dont find them below average or something. Rooms are clean, bit older but pretty solid. The only disadvantage is that I would prefer a bit bigger windows, because there is no balcony and the windows are located in the corner of the room so not only you basically dont have any view but you also have to have the lights turned on otherwise the room will be dark. Bathroom is big and clean, beds are very comfortable. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the city center, but it is no problem because you can get there by walk.

Stayed here one night while passing through on a tour. The air conditioning is not powerful enough to keep the room at a comfortable temperature even when set to maximum, and the rest of the hotel was warm as well. It wasn't exceptionally hot, but it was definitely warm enough where it made falling asleep difficult. The beds and pillows feel cheap; you could feel the springs in the mattress, and the pillows had no support. The floor of the shower/bath tub was slippery and slanted toward the drain, so I nearly fell when trying to get in and out of the shower. It was otherwise clean, updated, and the WiFi was fast. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again, but those who prefer warmer temperatures and those who don't care about bed firmness may find it suitable.

Nice Building but No Air Conditioning working for the rooms. Older building that uses 1 Central AC unit for the while building and it works for everyone or no one. On a Hot day in April the rooms were extremely Hot and AC was not available. Staff stated, open the windows at Night and hope it cools enough to sleep comfortably. But during the day, Good Luck. Had to checkout of thisHotel and found better accommodations with a working AC

Third visit to Santiago, and once again the advertised air conditioning does not cool. We were proactive, changed rooms, and tried everything — but the AC simply isn’t active. We specifically booked the Eurostars Gran to ensure a comfortable, climate‑controlled room, yet the conditions were no better than the pilgrim hotels we’ve stayed in.Be wary of the standard lines they use — “it’s working, it takes time” — which simply mean the compressor is off and the AC is not active.The real issue here is management. The hotel charges Eurostars‑level pricing while delivering pilgrim‑hotel conditions, and management forces front‑desk employees to pretend the AC is functioning when it clearly isn’t. The staff are kind and try to help, but they’re put in an unfair position defending a product that does not work.People should look elsewhere based on management alone. If functioning AC matters to you, be aware that it may not be active here despite being advertised.
