If I could give it a minus 5, I would do so. I am not even sure how he is operating. This place was a mess, worth then a hostel. Dirty, the furniture looked like it was from a donation or a garage sale gone wrong. There was no service, no closer by caffè or restaurant. The only thing is that it was near(15 minutes) the center of Siena. We booked 5 nights online and decided to leave on the 2 night, they didn't even have coffee, we are in italy. Not acceptable

Booked a triple room for 3 nights to explore tuscany with friends. The grounds of the b&b are very nice: a refreshing pool, nice surroundings and views of the valley, cherry trees and beautiful old building. The owner Roberto is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough with basic amenities. Breakfast was nice. The hotel is in a residential area near the highway and close to siena’s historical center but we had car which was very convenient. There’s a nearby supermarket as well. We enjoyed our stay and wished we stayed longer! It really felt like home so i would definitely recommend this b&b in siena!

The room was clean and spacious and the cleaner came round regularly. The scenery into the hills outside made the stay worth every penny and more. The staff were all helpful and were happy to tell us about the main restaurants and sites to see nearby. They helped make the trip memorable for us. We had no issues with our stay. Our only regret is not staying longer. This is the best side of Tuscany. All of the restaurants nearby are good. Bear in mind, this accommodation is out in the country. If you do not hire a car, you will need to get taxis everywhere and this can build up cost substantially over a number of days. I would recommend hiring a car and/or taking local buses. If you are going to Siena and want to get a real taste of the hills of Tuscany, definitely stay here.

We loved our stay a Casaled Virgili. Roberto and his staff were all nice and accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. Casale Virgili is like coming home to your mom's home but in Tuscany. The rooms are very basic but ours was clean and comfortable and a good size. Breakfast in the morning was great and there was plenty of food for you to choose from before discovering the area. Casale Virgili is located outside of the Siena city center, but close enough that driving there was not an issue. It was also pretty good location to see the neighboring and tourist towns in the region as well. The pool area was clean and nice and had a great view. If you are looking for a comfortable place to lay your head down after a day of doing the Tuscan countryside than this place if for your. Quiet, comfortable and homey.

Booked through Airbnb and what a find!!!! Tucked far enough away from the city to be quiet but close enough to travel in to see the sites. We booked for 2 nights and were greeted on arrival by Roberto who was very helpful and friendly. We booked into an apartment which was spacious, very clean and well decorated.... we booked to 'chill' for the last day of our holiday so sat by the lovely pool all day looking across the fields at the fantastic views.... an awesome end to our holiday..

We really enjoyed our stay at Casale Virgile in Siena and wish we had stayed longer. Poor planning on our part. The check in was easy and everyone was very helpful. Thankfully communication was not difficult. Although a couple of people did not speak English, we were able to communicate with any problems. The view incredible, especially at sunset. The breakfast was also good. The only downside, which really isn't because we still thought the place deserved a five, was that our room was on the bottom floor where the parking is. When we tried to sleep cars would pull in, right outside our window, maybe three feet away, and people were very loud. As they got out, laughing, yelling, slamming car doors, and finally the loud honk of the alarm. This for four or five cars each night. So, sleeping is challenging on the ground floor unit. Other than this, everything was absolutely wonderful!

This B&B is so extremely beautiful, we never wanted to leave. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. It is rather far from the city center, but there is a bus-station close by and the busses run until late evening and later there are some night busses. We really enjoyed the fact that we were outside of the town and had an awesome few and a pool.
