This is the most incredible hotel I’ve ever experienced. Beautiful, charming, historic, accommodating. Everything is first class— from linen cocktail napkins to shoe shine kits and service. Dining is exquisite either for breakfast for dinner. Beautiful gardens, superior staff and even a historian to explain the rich history of this well-appointed hotel. A five-star venue. Janet

More than just a hotel stay, this was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and surrounded by the history, elegance, and beauty of this magnificent palace. What touched us the most was the way the staff treated our daughter. Everyone was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, making her feel truly special throughout our stay. Seeing her so happy made this experience even more meaningful for our family. The property is stunning, the service is impeccable, and every detail reflects excellence. This is one of those rare places that leaves a lasting impression. If I could choose one place to spend every vacation, it would be here. Thank you for giving our family such a beautiful and unforgettable experience.

Outstanding experience. My partner and I got married in Sintra and stayed here for 2 nights. The palace & the grounds are breathtaking and the service is exceptional. This stay was a fairytale we are already planning our anniversary to come back here!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed and very well taken care of. Upon arrival, we were introduced to the palace and received many helpful recommendations for excursions in Sintra and the surrounding area. Our room was beautiful – very well maintained, spotless, spacious, and offering a stunning view. The restaurants were also outstanding, both in terms of cuisine and atmosphere. We would especially like to highlight the consistently warm, friendly, and attentive service throughout the entire hotel. If we travel to Portugal again, we will definitely stay here again. An absolute highlight and highly recommended! A big thank you to the entire team.

I had a fantastic stay at the Valverde Sintra Palácio de Seteais. The room was incredibly comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches—the wine provided in the room was a particularly high-quality treat. What truly made the experience stand out was the staff; everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The location is also perfect; it’s very easy to get around. Dedicating one day to walking is the best way to experience both the lush forest and the charming village. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend this as a base for exploring Sintra!

We had a truly wonderful experience here. The atmosphere feels magical, like stepping into a fairytale. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole stay even more special. Every dish we tried at the restaurant was super delicious and beautifully presented. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place if you’re looking for a romantic and memorable experience. We will come back again here for sure. 🤍

Beautiful building and setting, certainly impressive looking but upon closer inspection seems to be stuck in the past, with overgrown and unattended gardens, a stuffy smell and cold atmosphere. I understand the staff probably deal with a lot of annoying tourists, but when we requested to just look at the property (maybe we want to stay there sometime! Usually hotels warmly welcome this ask) they refused us coldly. Overall very tense and weird vibe, not welcoming or lively
