My husband and myself had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Pergola and would absolutely recommend it. A special mention must go to Nichola, who truly made our experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond throughout our stay—always incredibly polite, helpful, funny, and kind. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He consistently greeted us with a warm smile, even though he clearly works long hours, his positive attitude never wavered. Nichola made sure we had a fantastic breakfast every morning and even prepared items specially for us that weren’t on the menu, purely out of kindness. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests really stood out and made a big difference to our trip. The hotel itself is simple in style, but very clean and well-maintained. Walls are quite thin I would say. There is a shuttle to the town every 30 mins during evening through to 11pm. All amenities worked perfectly and were easy to use, including the air conditioning and shower. The location is also convenient—about a 15–20 minute walk to the main area of Sorrento. We would definitely stay here again—but only if Nichola is still there!

As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted by Mario and Antonio, very friendly and accommodating staff who made us feel so welcome! Everything air conditioned so it was a relief to get in from the heat of the day. |Rooms were comfortable and cleaned regularly, although a tiny gripe was that the bathroom and shower were a bit small for putting toiletries. |Free breakfast downstairs set you up for a day of exploring, with Sorrento only being a twenty or so minute walk away with plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. The Sant'Agnello train station was also only a ten minute walk for getting to places further afield. The pool was lovely and great for relaxing after a long day out, not to mention the rooftop terrace where you can watch the sunset. Overall, a great experience, especially if you are in need of a quieter location away from the hustle and bustle of town.

This is an outstanding hotel for the price. The location in St Agnello is quiet and away from the mayhem of Sorrento, but only a 10 minute walk away if you want to go into town. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes not far away. The pool area is beautiful for a peaceful swim. The roof terrace is breathtaking, with views to the sea and mountains. The staff are exceptional, going out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. We would definitely return and I will recommending this hotel to our travel agent.

We just had a wonderful 4 days at La Pergola. Nothing is too much trouble. Each day we received service with a smile. The location is a short distance from central Sorrento but the hotel offers a free shuttle service in the evening which was perfect for going for dinner etc. The rooms are clean. It has a fabulous roof terrace where they will bring drinks to you. Breakfast had a good selection of options. The swimming pool was nice. A short walk away you can go to the beach. All in all a great experience.

I stayed here with my mum for 6 nights and we had such a lovely experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and really well looked after. It’s about a 25–30 minute walk into Sorrento Square, but we actually really enjoyed this as the route takes you past lots of cute restaurants and little shops, which made it feel part of the experience rather than a chore. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and polite throughout our stay, which made a big difference and added to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Overall, we had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it. :)

Location is great as long as you are able and happy to walk 20 minutes to get to the centre of Sorrento, train station etc. It suited us to be away from the busy roads. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all of the staff were welcoming and extremely friendly. Nicola work’s tirelessly, he is always smiling and makes time for a quick chat on how you are planning to spend your day whilst maintaining breakfast service. Breakfast is good with enough choice of cold selections and some hot. The housekeeping staff were great. We didn’t use the pool as it was a little too cool for us at this time of year.

We stayed at La Pergola Hotel with my sister, and overall had a lovely experience. The standout feature of this hotel is definitely the staff — they were incredibly helpful and accommodating with anything we needed, which made our stay feel very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day, and the bathroom was also quite large, which is not always common in Italy. We stayed on the first floor, which was a slight downside as the view wasn’t the best, but we still had a partial view of the mountains, which was nice. Breakfast is an area where there’s room for improvement. The selection was quite limited, and the coffee wasn’t great — something we found surprising given how good coffee usually is in Italy. The location is convenient, with about a 20-minute walk into town, and there’s also a bus stop right outside the hotel, which makes getting around very easy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

We Stayed here for 5 nights with my daughter & husband and 3 grandchildren. We had a lovely holiday, Rooms were spotless and enough for what we needed . Staff on reception were all helpful and very friendly especially Antonio , Mario ,Clarissa , Nicola and Franco who did the shuttle run . Swimming Pool was very clean and the children loved it .Breakfast was lovely . Would definitely go back.
