Agata and Salvatore are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to offer great recommendations for exploring the area. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. The location is perfect for visiting Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Isola Bella, Mount Etna, and the surrounding attractions, especially if you’re traveling by car. This is an amazing place. The rooms are beautiful. The decor is so unusual and worth a visit in itself. Views from some of the rooms with huge balconies are stunning. The owners are very welcoming and attentive. However, all of that is overshadowed by the best breakfast ever - home made croissants stuffed with a different filling every day, three other different breakfast treats each day and little cakes. Highly recommended. Sorry we took so long to review, but still important to give credit where it is due one year later.

Despite everything written below, mainly because of the perfect service, I would still recommend staying here to anyone for whom the location is convenient and who is not bothered by the issues I described. Positive Bottom line: Beautiful building, excellent service — the best I’ve experienced — and comfortable beds. Details: The hotel is located in an old house that has been partially renovated, with a huge amount of artwork everywhere, seating areas in a well-kept garden, private parking (extra charge), and a pool that is still under construction. The hotel is managed by an elderly couple who are lovely, kind, and always happy to help as much as possible. The hotel is clean and organized, with enough towels provided. Breakfast is an upgraded continental breakfast including coffee, tea, juice, tortilla with prosciutto and cheeses, croissant, boiled egg, zucchini toast, bread with jam, cut fruit, and more. Every request we had regarding breakfast was gladly fulfilled the next day, very generously. We stayed in the top-floor room, which is huge, with 2 double beds and 2 single beds, so it can accommodate up to 6 people. The beds are comfortable. The room has a large private balcony with an open view. There are 2 air conditioners, 2 toilets, a bidet, and a shower. Negative Bottom line: Low ceilings and noise at night. Details: The hot water for tea is only lukewarm unless you specifically ask for boiling water. Breakfast is served only from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The building is not accessible at all — anyone who struggles with stairs should avoid this place completely. Even those who are fine with stairs should be prepared for an obstacle course every time they enter or leave. To reach the top-floor room, you need to climb 2 flights of stairs, then another one, then bend down (yes, literally) under another wooden staircase, and finally climb those wooden stairs to the upper floor, where the ceiling is extremely low. Inside the room there are 2 raised passages requiring stepping up and down. The beds are placed along the outer wall, which is also very low, so you really need to be careful not to hit your head (I did several times). The shower is tiny, with a toilet that is only comfortable while sitting, because if men stand up, their heads hit the ceiling. The additional toilet, sink, and bidet area has a reasonable ceiling height. The sink has bar soap instead of liquid soap. The shower provides shampoo in tiny sachets (like ketchup packets at McDonald’s). Both toilet areas only have ceiling windows, which are hard to reach unless you are tall. The bathroom and shower doors do not fully close and cannot be locked at all. The hotel is located right next to the highway toll booth, so throughout the night there is constant noise from cars, trucks, and motorcycles slowing down and accelerating.

We had a fantastic experience staying at this lovely bed and breakfast in Naxos. The hosts — very kind and welcoming grandpa and grandma — made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast in the garden was a highlight every morning, with fresh and delicious food served in a peaceful setting. The house itself has a charming traditional Italian style, complete with a cozy rooftop terrace that offers a great view — perfect for relaxing in the evening. The location is also excellent: 15-20min walk to the seaside and the bus station, and there’s a convenient parking lot for guests. Everything about our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and full of warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again to meet the lovely grandpa and grandma. Highly recommended! 🌿☀️

Lovely old villa and gardens packed full of antique furniture and art. Salvatore and Agata are passionate hosts who do not speak any English. Our room had fantastic views towards Mt Etna. The room was very clean. Breakfast was a set series of tasting plates and delicious. Unfortunately the hosts weren’t expecting us and tried to charge us again for the room we had already paid for through booking.com. This was eventually sorted. Then when we parked our car on the property they wanted to charge us an extra €30! We quickly moved our car back out on to the street where it was fine. The room is equipped with a mini fridge and a kettle but no tea, coffee or cups. When we asked we were quoted €8 /day for 2 people. Not as advertised! The shower although in keeping with the property was very small like a phone box. The mattress was quite soft. It is a 15-20min walk to the seafront and all the restaurants. The area around the villa isn’t particularly nice. The tollbooths for the autostrade are right next to the property although set down a bit. Expect to hear car horns along with the church bells every 15mins during the day. Reading the other reviews it seems our experience was atypical but unfortunately it spoiled our stay.

Beautiful place with amazing atmosphere. The room is clean and you wake up with the sound of the birds. Breakfast is great. Bruschetas, sweet buns, coffe, fresh Orange juice. All of that on the terrace with the view on Etna. Parking on site is a big plus. Owners are also very nice people. Highly recommended.
