Classic hotel in the old city. Quiet area around the hotel, just a short walk from the cathedral. Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. Service at reception was super friendly. I was allowed to park my bicycle in the garage downstairs, no extra fee charged. Amazing value!

Absolutely amazing hotel! Tucked away on a quiet street but only a few mins walk from bars, restaurants and all the things worth seeing in the old town. An absolute gem. Rooms are very well equipped and the views are stunning, particularly from the roof terrace. Breakfast is fantastic.

This is a beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located little hotel. And Lucia at reception was heaven-sent. We had a difficult time getting here and she could not have been more helpful and patient (especially considering we failed to call ahead to reserve parking as suggested). Don’t forget to go to the roof deck!!

We stayed two nights at the Santa Isabel Hotel. The location is excellent in the old town, just a few minutes’ walk from the cathedral, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Indeed, everything is within walking distance. The hotel is a wonderful and atmospheric refurbishment (rebuild, really) of a fine old town house. We had a standard double. It was compact and furnished simply. Modern bathroom, comfortable bed, impeccably clean, good storage, effective A/C. Note – no tea/coffee making tray. Staff were pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was poor, presumably a reflection of the fairly low room rates. It was a cold continental style breakfast served at your table. Very limited choice, although the glass of orange juice was freshly squeezed.

This hotel’s management is very much below par. We wasted well over half an hour after our arrival before being allowed to access the room we had fully paid for in advance because the management claimed they had no record of our booking and demanded proof that we had in fact already paid. Their whole argument fell apart when we showed them several emails the hotel had sent us confirming the booking, telling us the check-in time and asking if we needed car-parking! Their excuse was to say they didn’t know Trip.com, through whom the reservation was made, because they only ever get clients sent to them by Bookings.com or *******, which makes no sense at all. Of course, there was no subsequent gesture of regret by the management after having caused us to have to put up with this farce on arrival - an upgrade to a better room should have been the very least they could have done. The room we stayed in, however, was adequate and the hotel location good, but we will certainly never stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. The hotel is in a good location, all the staff are very helpful. The decor is in keeping with the historic location. Roof terrace is a great place to sit with a bottle of wine and enjoy the views.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Santa Isabel in Toledo. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations, especially because of its beautiful historic vibe that perfectly matches the charm of the city. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the terrace - the views from there are absolutely stunning and unforgettable. It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the atmosphere of Toledo. We also had breakfast at the hotel, and it was excellent, with an authentic Spanish touch that made the experience even more special. The only regret was that we only stayed for one night! 🥹
