The Kalk is an extraordinary little hotel in Visby. The vibe is clean, calm no fuss, and smells marvelous at all times. Several rooms have extraordinary sea views and the breakfast is wonderful. Curated samples of all sorts of Swedish delicacies including their exceptional Swedish waffles. The staff are absolutely lovely. Helpful in every way. This last stay a large bee decided to wander through the door into my room, and a staff person came by to gently usher it out, so I would not have to worry about being stung while sleeping. The kindness that they show as a staff is wonderful. This hotel us one of my favorite places to visit. If you are going to be in Visby check them out but boo quickly, as it is difficult to get in during high season.

A realy fantastic hotel, beuteful rooms with fantastic views. Great service and very friendly personel. We are visiting Visby/Gotland at least 2 times a year, trying out different hotels, Kalk Hotel ranks at the top.

I was really unsure about where to stay in Visby, and ended up choosing Kalk Hotel based on previous reviews - and it far exceeded my expectations. They did everything possible to make my stay wonderful, and handled all requests wonderfully. I only regret I couldn't stay longer! The breakfast was also excellent, and had a wide variety of options. Overall, an excellent choice!

We really enjoyed our two night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the location was perfect, breakfast was delicious and we loved our cute little balcony with beautiful views. We hired two of their bikes for 24 hours and loved riding up the coastline to explore further afield. Highly recommend.
