We had a lovely stay. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff do a great job, they are friendly and professional. The pool is large and capable of hosting a lot of families at the same time. It's on the expensive side but for what you get probably worth it overall. Paying for the parking is a bit cheeky to be honest... It's not like I can walk to the hotel from Germany. The kids club was great and had lots of fun activities. I only managed to do one yoga session due to an injury but it was really well hosted and fun to do. Kudos there. The gym is also a highlight with good equipment and lots of different areas/machines. A walk around the resort at sunset is very much worth doing. We put one child in the arsenal football camp, which turned out great. Very well organised and good fun. The beach area has showers and plenty of seating, including shady sports. You have to pay to use the inflatable slide in the sea... Why? I think during my stay I saw 3 people on it overall. Seems daft to charge for something so boring. If you go to breakfast or dinner at peak times be prepared for the scrum... The fight for available tea pots at 7.30am is a doozy. Not much you can do about that really but buffets with kids is the best solution overall. If another parent is reading this, try not to let you childv stack 8 pancakes on a single plate. They are probably not going to eat them all. Overall, if you have the time and money this place is very much a hotel to have a nice holiday at.

This hotel is nowhere near five-star standard. The building feels like a huge concrete block, with enormous numbers used to identify the rooms—it honestly feels more like a prison than a luxury resort. The rooms are extremely basic, comparable to a three-star hotel, with no particular comfort, no personalised amenities and no special welcome for children, despite the hotel presenting itself as a family resort. Furthermore, the hotel is surrounded by construction sites, which makes the settings even less appealing and certainly not what one would expect from a five-star resort, as shown in the attached photo. Guests should also be very careful when choosing the meal package. We booked the “full board” option, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, but this is certainly not an all-inclusive experience. Almost every additional service comes at an extra cost. The inflatable water park is €15 for just 30 minutes, bowling costs €35, billiards €15, and even a tiny scoop of ice cream costs €2.50. Everything is charged separately from beginning to end. Considering that a stay for a family of four already costs approximately €700 per day, including meals, this feels extremely poor value for money. The food was a complete disaster. The large buffets may look impressive at first, but almost everything appears to be industrially prepared. On several occasions, I saw employees taking food directly from large commercial boxes and placing it on the buffet. No proper drinks are included, apart from very poor-quality juices. There is another restaurant on the property, but unsurprisingly, it is not included in the package and requires an additional, more expensive payment. This was never explained to us upon arrival. The general maintenance is equally disappointing. The beach is not particularly well maintained, and rubbish around the swimming pool is not collected until the end of the day. Parking also costs an additional €13 per day, another charge that was never mentioned during check-in. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The hotel does not provide the service, comfort, quality or attention to detail expected from a five-star property, and the constant additional charges make the stay feel misleading and severely overpriced.

We loved our stay here. Our children loved it - excellent swimming pools, play areas and you can even leave your toddlers in a nursery for a couple of hours every day. It was fantastic. The staff are friendly, and helpful. It has everything you could possibly want for your kids. Definitely coming back, here next year. There are, however, a few things they need to look into. The daily parking charge doesn't quite right with me as a matter of principle, especially during the high-season, when bookings are at their most expensive. And on a more serious note, they have to make the floor in the covered, shallow indoor pool for smaller children, safer. I slipped and fell head-first on the tiled floor and was lucky to only have had concussion and a huge bump to the side of my head. I was told by reception that this happens regularly. Unless they want to risk a more serious injury, or worse, they have to do something to make it more secure.

The service and everything is great, but they make sure you pay every penny for it. I would reccomend, but only to someone who has plenty of disposable income. Few minuses The beds are really uncomfortable The playground has no sun shade so isnt good to play at. There is not much lunch time food variety if you are not all inclusive. There is not much else outside of the hotel They add a really high and cheeky tip to your bill, makes you wonder what your paying for. Pros There is plenty to do at the hotel They are very accommodating and helpful They are exceptional with their room cleaning Dinner and breakfasts are full of variety Lots of indoor and outdoor activities and pools for kids, They had the best kids drop off area i have seen The snorkeling is great and there is loads of beach activites

Wonderful hotel on all accounts. Nice rooms, brilliant facilities and activities for the kids, amazing gym, sauna for adults and the food is the best hotel food I’ve had. Delicious and healthy for breakfast lunch and dinner. They even treated us with birthday cake on my son’s birthday. Thank you Milan for organising!

We had a fantastic week at this hotel. Food: a very varied offering, quality products, always well replenished. There's a strong focus on hygiene and a clean buffet. Staff are constantly busy keeping everything spotless. Service is delivered with a smile, the chefs are friendly, and everything runs very smoothly. Rooms: spacious, clean, and it's nice that there's a climbing net for the kids. Pool facilities: well maintained, sauna and steam room pleasant and quiet. Kids' activities: a nice kids' club with numerous facilities and activities. About the region: There isn't a huge amount to do in the surrounding area. Zadar is worth a visit, as is Krka National Park. We booked a private boat tour in Zadar itself, which was cheaper compared to the boat tours offered through the hotel. Unfortunately, quite a few activities come at an extra cost: sea water park, sea kayaking, tennis, padel, wall climbing,... For the price you pay, this should be included. We were asked whether the voluntary tip could be charged to our bill. This remains an odd thing for a 5-star hotel where you're already paying for service. Overall, a top family hotel where, despite the crowds, the service runs flawlessly.

Great hotel with an amazing kids’ club for all ages. The staff were wonderful with the children, taking care of them and organizing fun activities. The kids especially enjoyed the cooking class and mini disco. For older children, there were PlayStation rooms. We used the indoor pool and sauna, which is quite large and spacious. The kids’ pool area is also very big, and there is a Turkish steam sauna for little ones. For babies, there is a baby room where you can prepare baby food, change diapers (complimentary), or use a breastfeeding corner. We also used the washing machine, which cost 6 EUR. The food selection was large. The best part was the salad bar and the bread corner, and they had the best coffee at breakfast. For dessert at dinner, there was a variety of fruits that could be covered with chocolate from the fountain, as well as ice cream and sweets, which the kids loved the most. However, I wish there had been more cake options. Parking cost 13 EUR per day. The car was parked in a garage, but we decided to park outside the garage instead. Overall, we would definitely come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor pools and playground more.

We had a wonderful experience at the kids room in Falkensteiner Resort. The space is bright, clean, and very thoughtfully organized for children of different ages. My daughter loved spending time there. The activities were engaging, and the atmosphere felt both fun and safe. A special thank you to Hugo, who played chess with my daughter. He was incredibly kind, patient, and made her feel welcome right away. His positive attitude and genuine interest in the kids created such a warm environment. Overall, the kids room is one of the highlights of the resort. It’s a great place for children to play, learn, and make new friends. Highly recommend.
