I have spent a great deal of my life in hotels, thanks to a career in consulting and a lifelong passion for travel, and feel that I have a finely tuned sensibility for what constitutes exceptional hospitality. The Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island certainly delivers it and stands among the very best hotel experiences of my life. The staff at the hotel elevates the guest experience to a level rarely seen, even in the finest of properties. Smart, knowledgeable, and efficient, they radiate a positive energy that feels genuine rather than rehearsed. The front desk, concierge, restaurants, housekeeping, and bell desk teams, and everyone else I dealt with, appeared incapable of getting anything less than perfectly right. I was upgraded to a premium room that was large, exceptionally comfortable, and beautifully appointed, with an Oliver Hemming Bluetooth speaker among its many wonderful touches. The bathroom was spacious, elegant, and beautifully finished. It was stocked with the excellent Frederic Malle toiletries that I greatly enjoyed using during my stay. My rate included breakfast at Crust, which offers a select spread of breads and pastries alongside an a la carte menu, which was very good but did not include the Masala Dosa that I was craving. The very accommodating chef was happy to prepare the off-menu item especially for me. The hotel has an extraordinary art collection. The General Manager, Bob Suri, told me it consists of more than 2,500 works. I fell in love with Italian sculptor Lorenzo Quinn's awe-inspiring piece, Infinite Love, in the lobby. As an art collector myself, I took my time exploring the collection and discovered some remarkably talented artists from the UAE in the process. I will admit to a twinge of envy standing before some of the works of art. My flight was scheduled to depart from Zayed International Airport at 2:30 am. The front desk staff graciously extended my checkout to 6:00 pm and made the business center available to me for several hours afterwards. This allowed me to clear my emails and get other work out of the way before heading to the airport. I appreciated the gesture greatly. The Galleria Al Maryah Island, a very elegant mall with excellent shopping and dining, is attached to the property. The convenient access gave me the opportunity to do some shopping, especially at the wonderful Zahi store, and enjoy some very good food. The Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, by all measures, afforded me an exceptional experience. I look forward to returning and recommend it highly.

Everything was perfect. Although we arrived early, the staff assisted us with an early check-in to a room with a beautiful view. The room itself was spacious enough for our large suitcases, and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back again!

I picked the hotel as much for its location as for its comforts — with easy access to Saadiyat Island to the east, the Corniche to the west, and direct connection to The Galleria Al Maryah Island. I was very happy with the choice on all counts. The room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished, the service attentive and there were excellent restaurants both within the hotel and at the adjoining mall. The spa facilities were also excellent, with a very good hammam and a pool area. The hotel also has one of the best gyms I’ve seen in a hotel, with a genuinely impressive range of equipment rather than just the basics. Thoroughly recommended.

The Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi is an absolutely exceptional place to stay! No need to tell you, this hotel is priceless. From the moment we arrived, everything felt flawless and welcoming. The atmosphere is elegant yet warm, and the level of hospitality is truly unmatched. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail, making the entire experience feel effortless and special. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with stunning views that elevate the stay even more. Every moment spent here felt luxurious and memorable. Whether it’s the service, the ambiance, or the overall experience, everything is done to perfection. We truly had an unforgettable stay at the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi and would absolutely love to return again!

We recently stayed at the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi and came away with mixed feelings. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Every member of the team we interacted with was professional, welcoming and genuinely helpful. That said, the property itself didn’t quite live up to what I expect from a Four Seasons. The lobby isn’t particularly grand. It feels more like a long hallway lined with seating and an open-concept café than the impressive arrival experience you’d normally associate with a luxury hotel. Our room unfortunately smelled of cigarette smoke, the views were quite underwhelming and the bars on the windows made the room feel surprisingly institutional. Overall, the hotel felt dated and in need of a refresh. One small detail that became surprisingly frustrating was the elevator leading to The Galleria. The doors opened incredibly slowly, and because of the awkward timing, my husband and I bumped into the doors almost every time we used them. It sounds minor, but after an entire weekend it became genuinely irritating. We didn’t have a chance to dine at the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, but it looked beautiful and is definitely something I’d like to try on a future visit. The location connected to The Galleria is very convenient, and the outstanding staff are the hotel’s greatest asset. With a renovation and a bit more attention to maintenance, I think this property could once again feel worthy of the Four Seasons name.

My highest appreciation goes to Ezzedine from Morocco. His service was truly exceptional professional, respectful, attentive, and always welcoming with a genuine smile. He went above and beyond to make our experience special and memorable. Ezzedine represents the true meaning of Five-Star hospitality and is a great asset to the Four Seasons team. He genuinely deserves recognition for his outstanding service. Exceptional hospitality, wonderful staff, and an experience worth repeating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stayed here solo and it was one of those trips where the hotel itself becomes the experience. From check-in the service was seamless the kind of attentiveness where things just happen before you think to ask. The room was genuinely impressive. Beautifully designed, spotlessly maintained, and the kind of space you don’t want to leave. I found myself just sitting in the room enjoying it more than I expected to. The bed, the linens, the light coming in everything felt considered. The Al Maryah Island location is also a bonus you’re right on the water with stunning views of the Abu Dhabi skyline, and everything feels calm and removed from the chaos despite being central. Travelling solo here felt completely comfortable and indulgent in the best way. The Four Seasons sets a standard that’s hard to match. Already thinking about coming back.
