Our stay at Sonesta Nouba Aswan Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The location alone is breathtaking — right on the Nile, with peaceful, quiet surroundings that make you feel instantly relaxed and transported. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with stunning views that made waking up here a joy. Everything about the property feels calm, elegant, and thoughtfully designed for a restful stay. Dinner was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively and fun, and the service was exceptional — especially from our waiter Ahmed, who went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The entire staff at Sonesta Nouba is professional, kind, and eager to help, creating a five-star experience that feels both luxurious and personal. If you’re visiting Aswan, this hotel is an absolute gem — beautiful, serene, and filled with heart. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Nile-side experience.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms have such an enchanting Nubian charm. The pool is just a short stroll from the rooms — perfect for a swim while watching the afternoon drift into evening. So relaxing! Breakfast by the Nile was absolutely delicious 😍 such a surreal experience.

The hotel and rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. The restaurant food is terrible and you’re so far away from anything else to get decent food.

Response from the property

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the rooms and appreciated our staff’s efforts. Regarding the food, we checked with our F&B team and noted that you ordered the same dish on two consecutive days without raising any concerns at the time. We truly wish you had mentioned what you didn’t enjoy, as our team would have been happy to adjust immediately. We hope you will return so we can provide you with a flawless experience

My stay was wonderful from the first day we arrived. They greeted us with hibiscus tea, very friendly smile from the staff. The staff was very pleasant and attentive with everything they offered us. The open-air restaurant near the Nile was spectacular. I spent my birthday there, and they were so kind to share and had a surprise for me. They came to my room with a cake and sang happy birthday songs. They made my day very special. I'll never forget it. The cleaning staff was impressive and very friendly. Thank you for everything.

Omg, all their staff are very accommodating and nice, their service is above and beyond, very helpful. We had trouble, one of our luggage was missing and none of the airport workers spoke English. We only asked for the number to contact if the luggage arrived later in the evening or the next morning, so we told them the situation and they right away figured it out. They called the number and informed us that we didn’t need to worry, they would pick it up for us. The hotel itself is spectacular, quiet and very stylish, and we relaxed so well.
