This is my fourth stay at this hotel over the previous quarter of a century and it continues to be a great value hotel in an excellent location. I had three nights at the hotel with my young family and we all enjoyed it. Check-in went very smoothly though I agree there was not a lot of warmth from the staff. The lobby has been re-furbished and looks very nice. The rooms were close together on the eight floor and in a very good clean condition. The two-pools were excellent and we used them everyday. The staff at both the Amber restaurant, breakfast room and rooms / pool service were very friendly and helpful. Though breakfast was limited in its choice it was more that adequate for us. The connectivity to the BTS is as always a pleasure with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. So long as you expect a nice 3-star hotel in a great location at a very reasonable price, you can not go wrong. I will happily stay here again

I went to Bangkok during 26th to 29th of May and stayed at Asia Hotel. I found this place through internet research and lucky to have this hotel. Although it's not a five star , umm..may be 4 star or so. This hotel is perfect for family, business and solo travellers who want to stay in central Bangkok. All the major shopping centres, markets are walkable and are nearby. Biggest shopping hub MBK Centre is just few walks from this hotel. There are many 24x 7 in and around hotel. Rooms are bit small and needs upgrade. However there pool is very good. Breakfast has many options and can have full meal with variety of items. Overall perfect for budget travellers and I strongly recommended this hotel especially for Honeymoon goers and Family. 👍

Stayed for 2 nights, but in different rooms. First night was pricier but didn't have kettle and coffee or tea bag. Second night is cheaper with coffee, tea, kettle. Also got to 10th floor, so view is pleasant. Hotel is linked to Rachathevi BTS, near Siam, so location is the best. Hotel has quite big car park. Local eateries as well as 7-11 are around. The room prices are varied. You can get just under 2000 baht a night with breakfast. I think it's a bargain! Staffs are nice but service can be slow if there is a main event on.

The Service: Hostile and uncompromising. I had a fully prepaid room but didn't have the 1,000 THB cash deposit on hand when I returned from an afternoon out. I offered to leave $100 USD as temporary collateral just to use my room's toilet before going to a money changer. Management refused, forced me to wait in a long queue again while standing guard over me, and treated me with intense suspicion. It took a third staff member intervening to resolve a very basic customer service issue. The Vibe: Unwelcoming. There is a literal menu of fines sitting next to the bed detailing charges for guest infractions. You are treated as guilty until proven innocent here. I took photos of the entire room at check-in just to ensure they wouldn't try to fine me for existing damage. The Room: Poorly maintained. The shower drained slowly, and the bidet spewed water constantly unless the main valve was turned off. The mattress was sparse, the toiletries looked incredibly cheap, and my view was of an empty pool. Conclusion:I booked this solely for airport access. The location does not justify the poor treatment and shoddy rooms. I will not return.

Asia Hotel Bangkok has become my go-to place whenever I visit Bangkok, and this was my 4th stay here—consistently a great experience every time! One of the biggest highlights is the location. The hotel is centrally located and even directly connected to the Ratchathewi BTS Skytrain, making it incredibly easy to get around the city and explore major attractions and shopping areas. There are multiple restaurants in and around the hotel, along with at least two 7-Eleven stores within a short 5-minute walk, which makes everything super convenient. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide variety of options catering to different tastes, and it’s something I always look forward to. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering great value for money. Another standout feature is the swimming pools—the hotel has multiple pools, including a rooftop pool and another more relaxed area, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, Asia Hotel Bangkok offers a perfect combination of location, comfort, convenience, and value. It’s no surprise I keep coming back, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok!

10 “Wonderful stay at Asia Hotel ” Our stay at Asia Hotel was truly wonderful. Since we were traveling as a group with five seniors, we really appreciated that all our requests were taken into consideration, which made our stay much more comfortable and stress-free. The location was one of the best things about the hotel. Having direct access to the BTS Ratchathewi Station made getting around Bangkok incredibly convenient and easy for our whole family. While the rooms are a bit old and outdated, they were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We also had a smooth experience with both check-in and check-out, with no issues at all. The breakfast buffet was okay and had enough options to start the day. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers, especially families or groups with seniors.

I had a really pleasant stay at Asia Hotel Bangkok. The moment you step inside, the lobby immediately sets the tone. It is clean, polished, and surprisingly elegant. What stood out the most for me was the interior design, especially the crystal chandeliers and the sparkling decorative details throughout the hotel. They give the space a classic and slightly glamorous Bangkok hotel atmosphere, and it looks even better in person. It is also very photogenic. The room was comfortable, well maintained, and felt properly cared for. Everything worked as it should, and the overall environment was calm and relaxing despite the busy location. I slept well and felt comfortable throughout my stay. The bathroom was another strong point. It was clean, practical, and clearly maintained with attention to detail, which made the stay feel reassuring and pleasant. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone who appreciates a bright, clean, and well kept property with a touch of classic charm. I would happily stay here again and would confidently recommend it to both business and leisure travelers.
