It was our first trip to Barcelona with my husband, so we‘ve booked this Hotel from booking. The location is great, you‘re in the center but not in a crowded and noisy part. We basically walked to everywhere and didn’t have to use subway or bus daily. The hotel staff is corresponding, warm and smiling. The AC was working properly. The most important thing is the hygiene; so the rooms, bedsheets and the whole bathroom were really clean! Our room had a terrace, it was nice to have. The room service ladies were smiling and really responsive. Suggestions to the Hotel: The WiFi could be better. And bottled water in the rooms could be renewed everyday, there was only 1 for 2 people at the first day.

We ended up booking Turin as we were sat waiting for our very delayed (due to bad weather in Spain) flight to take off. The hotel is just off La Rambla, but it is very quiet. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants very close (Succulent is one to try, exceptional place). The room was well appointed, and the air con worked fantastically! The staff are super helpful. We will definition consider Turin on petite next visit to Barcelona.

Excellent hotel - very clean and room appeared to have been recently refurbished.|Buffet breakfast freshly prepared and tasty. No complaints. The location is ideal and there are|plenty of eating/drinking venues within a few steps of the hotel. No complaints.

Tucked away off la Rambla it's got a fresh and modern esthetic. The rooms are unique and very well maintained, mine even had a patio (too bad it's been rainy). Parking is convenient (but pricey). Definitely highly recommend.

Score: 7.5 / 10 The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the city center. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted, usually within 30–40 minutes, which was very convenient. The rooms were generally clean, and the staff was helpful whenever we needed something. However, the room was quite small. There were no small hygiene kits (like cotton swabs), and the trash bins didn’t have liners, which felt a bit unusual. Also, the absence of disposable slippers was surprising, as we hadn’t experienced this before. Additionally, the safe in the room was not working. Overall, it’s a good choice for its location, but expectations regarding room comfort should be moderate.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone; the receptionist lunged at us and tried to throw my phone, shoving us while shouting Spanish profanities. We were here simply as tourists, and after experiencing this, we called the police; however, the officer dismissed the incident without taking action, essentially telling us to do whatever we wanted. Consequently, we were forced to leave the hotel.

I knew I would be going to La Rambla in Barcelona this weekend for business, so I booked this hotel near my office. I'm traveling with four children, making a total of five people. When I booked, I filled in two rooms for two adults and one child. I don't understand what went wrong with my booking. The price of over 300 euros per room was clearly stated as three adults; I paid the adult price for a room for the child. Upon arrival, the hotel gave me two rooms, each with only one bed. I went to the hotel to negotiate, but they said Booking.com collected the money and they didn't handle it, and that there were no rooms available that night. The receptionist was extremely rude, saying he didn't have time to handle so many bookings and couldn't reserve a room for me in advance. What does he mean by that? I complained to Booking.com, who said my booking was for two rooms for two adults and a 12-year-old child. Does this booking logic make sense? 700 euros for two rooms in a three-star hotel for three people? This is blatant rip-off! The last two children shared a room, and the other room had two children sleeping in a bed. I laid my clothes on the floor. Who would encounter such an unreasonable booking when traveling? It completely ruins a wonderful trip, and there's nowhere to complain. Reviews on Booking.com will just get buried, so I had to resort to Google. Avoid these kinds of bookings; don't waste your money and suffer. The incessant noise all night , making me think it was Monday. I hadn't checked out yet; I went out to get a document. When I came back 10:00 pm, the cleaning lady had taken my phone charger, saying she thought no one was home. There were also clothes and a suitcase left in the room. I was speechless. 宝子们谁去谁挨🍴

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and would not recommend it. The room was extremely small, only around 14 square metres, and felt very cramped. It was also old, outdated, and had a strong unpleasant smell, like an old building that had not been properly maintained. The room was very cold as well, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. It did not feel cosy or suitable for guests at all. The TV did not work properly and was basically useless. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was extremely poor. It was very difficult to connect, and even when it connected, the signal was unstable and kept dropping. This made it almost impossible to use the internet in the room. Overall, the room was tiny, cold, old, smelly, and poorly equipped. The TV did not work, the Wi-Fi was terrible, and the whole experience was far below expectations. For the price paid, this was completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise other travellers to avoid this hotel.

Frequently asked questions about Barcelona

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

The best time to visit is May or June, when temperatures are warm and rain is moderate. September is also pleasant, though it is the rainiest month. July and August are the hottest and driest, with highs around 29°C. Winter months are mild but cooler, with more humidity. Aim for late spring or early autumn for the most comfortable weather.

Which area should I stay in in Barcelona?

For first visits, the Eixample puts you near Gaudí's masterpieces and upscale shopping, with hotels like Majestic and Almanac. The Gothic Quarter suits those wanting medieval streets and nightlife, with Duquesa de Cardona nearby. La Rambla and Plaça de Catalunya offer central convenience, with Olivia Plaza and Kimpton Vividora. For a quieter, residential feel, Sant Gervasi is calm and green, home to Hotel Boutique Mirlo.

What are the must-see attractions in Barcelona?

Start with the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece and the city's icon. Park Güell offers colorful mosaics and sweeping views. Casa Batlló and La Pedrera showcase his imaginative facades on Passeig de Gràcia. For football fans, Spotify Camp Nou is the home of FC Barcelona. Ciutadella Park is a green escape with a lake and the Arc de Triomf nearby.

What day trips can I take from Barcelona?

You can take full-day tours to Andorra, a small mountain country with duty-free shopping and scenic valleys; Girona, a medieval city with a well-preserved old town; and the Costa Brava, a rugged coastline with coves and beaches. Montserrat, a mountain monastery, is also a popular day trip. These tours cover the destinations in a single day, so you can see them without planning your own transport.

How many days do I need in Barcelona?

Plan 3 to 4 days for Barcelona. In 3 days, you can see the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, and the Gothic Quarter, plus Montjuïc Castle or Ciutadella Park. Add a fourth day for a day trip to Montserrat, Girona, or the Costa Brava, which needs a full extra day. If you want to include Spotify Camp Nou or Tibidabo, allow a fifth day.
