Lived the terasse and the pool on top. Perfect service. Very touristy area though.

The food and rooftop bar are phenomenal!! Highly recommend this beautiful place. My friends and I ate lunch and had drinks here. We had the most incredible day. Everything about our visit was perfection. The food, drinks and facilities are exceptional!!! I feel so lucky to have discovered Serra. The staff took such good care of us, Sandra was particularly attentive, knowledgeable and professional. She made our day!! If you visit Serras, I hope you have the pleasure of meeting her. I will definitely return with my husband at a later date. Highly recommend!!!

We’ve been to Barcelona before, so we had a good sense of the city and where we wanted to stay. We spent 5 nights at Serras Barcelona and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted with cava upon arrival, which was a lovely and welcoming start to our stay. The location is fantastic—right by the water and at the edge of the Gothic Quarter, making it easy to explore Barcelona while still having a peaceful place to come back to. The hotel itself was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and surprisingly quiet. After spending the day exploring the busy streets of Barcelona, it was wonderful to return to a calm and comfortable room. Barcelona was VERY hot during our August visit, and we especially appreciated that the AC at Serras was strong and kept our room comfortably cool. After walking around the city in the heat, coming back to a cool room was a lifesaver! What truly made our stay special, though, was the incredible hospitality from Sandra, the breakfast manager. From our very first breakfast, Sandra knew our names and made us feel genuinely welcomed. When we missed breakfast one morning, she actually noticed and wondered where we were! It was those little personal touches that made us feel less like hotel guests and more like friends visiting Barcelona. I also asked Sandra for recommendations on where to find authentic Catalan olive oil and other local goodies to bring home. Her recommendations were fantastic—it honestly felt like having a local friend with us who knew all the hidden gems. She even taught us how to order scrambled eggs in Spanish—proof that Sandra wasn’t just our breakfast manager, but our unofficial Barcelona guide and Spanish teacher too! 😄 Sandra was warm, attentive, and pleasant every morning, and she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Serras is a beautiful 5-star luxury boutique hotel and a Michelin Key property, but it’s the people who make a stay truly special, and Sandra is a perfect example of that. After 5 nights, we left feeling like we had made a connection with someone who helped make our Barcelona experience even better. We’ll definitely remember Sandra and would happily stay at Serras Barcelona again!

Beautiful small property in an excellent location at junction of Gothic Quarter and marina/waterfront area. Staff were outstanding (Santiago and Diego in particular!) and they got a room ready quickly for us after our morning arrival from the U.S. They gave us water and delicious coffee and suggested we wait on the beautiful rooftop courtyard/pool area which was a perfect way to unwind after the flight. Breakfast was delicious, both a la carte and menu. They have a few e-bikes to rent which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location was very convenient and we could walk to most attractions easily.

I wish there was a 10 star rating to give - this hotel(a 5 star property ) was far and away one of the best hospitality experiences we have ever had. We have traveled worldwide, and have stayed at many 5 star properties, Although some have been more palatial and have had larger grounds and space - none have compared to this property’s service and their staff. Immaculately maintained, modern style and on a quiet street - there was a great value for the money on all counts. We could not get close to the door to get in or out of the hotel - their door and bell staff leapt up at every moment when they saw us approaching. Ryan the manager took us personally for a tour of the Hotel and showed us to our room explaining all amenities clearly. Clara the GM was ever present and the sweetest , as well as highly visible during our entire stay. Sandra in the breakfast room/restaraunt was hands down the best server we ever had at any hotel space, wish we could bring her home with us. Every trip out of the hotel was met with: can we get you for water for your stroll? Do you need a taxi? Do you need a recommendation of a place to eat - they literally couldn’t do enough. Located in Gothic quarter - conveniently adjacent to many attractions, shopping and eating spots. Quick stroll to the Marina/Port and Olympic Beaches, Museums and more - this Boutique Hotel is the perfect place for a Barcelona get away.

We had booked two rooms for our family of 5 and a small dog while in Barcelona and had a very comfortable stay. All of the stuff were very attentive, kind and helpful and that really made our stay at Serras special. The breakfast was great and the breakfast manager Sandra was so sweet and fantastic. Jan, who was at the front desk also was very helpful and kind. I don't remember all staffs' names but everyone was just fantastic. We also had a dinner at the rooftop on the first night and was delicious:)) The only disappointment I had was the pool. It was more of a jacuzzi than a pool (approx. 8' x 10') and right at the roof top bar with bar/restaurant seating. I felt awkward being in the pool while other guests dined right next to the very small pool. |My preschooler son had a great time in the pool regardless!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Serras as part of an anniversary trip to Spain. Honestly I’m not sure how our stay could have been any better. This hotel is an 11/10. The location right outside the Gothic Quarter is close enough to walk just about anywhere and has a wonderful view of the marina from the rooftop. The rooms are spacious and quiet and have all the amenities one would expect from a luxury hotel. The staff at this property are simply amazing. From the time we arrived in our taxi to the time we checked out they made sure we had absolutely anything and everything we needed. The maid service was almost invisible, yet they always made sure our room was made up or turned down when we returned. The on-site restaurants and bars are wonderful as well. The rooftop provides a gorgeous view and a quiet place for some snacks and a bottle of wine as well as a great dinner, if you prefer. Breakfast in the morning has many great options and the service is top notch. Many thanks to the staff at Serras for making our trip so wonderful. We cannot wait to return!

I can not say enough wonderful words about the staff at this hotel. Sandra‘s Service from breakfast to lunch to drinks on the rooftop were beyond incredible. Her attention in detail and professionalism made her trip so worthwhile. They are beyond lucky to have her as a manager at their hotel.
