Upon arrival, we discovered that our room no. 301 was not the advertised 30 m², but about a third less. There was no microwave in the kitchenette and there was no promised washing machine, there was no living room and a separate bedroom. We immediately contacted the accommodation provider and asked for a discount for a worse room. He put us off by saying that the microwave was out of order after the previous guest and they were unable to fix it over the weekend, the washing machine shared by the entire accommodation can be found on the ground floor (our room was on the 3rd floor) and our room does not have a separate bedroom, the description on the booking platform is probably incorrect. The size of the room limited us quite a bit, because there was nowhere to comfortably open our luggage. The storage space was not very usable either. The wardrobe was replaced by a hanger in the corner of the room. Moreover, it seemed to us that there was no place to effectively place the microwave in the kitchenette anyway, let alone connect it to the socket, which was on the wall next to the kitchenette. Similarly, we had to plug the kettle into the socket under the bedside table because it was not safe to use anywhere else. Even then, it was not entirely OK considering the quality of the socket. The next day I went to check on the promised washing machine downstairs. It was currently in full operation, as the staff was probably washing bed linen or towels in it, so I preferred to leave it there. We checked the description on the booking platform and found that it more or less matches the description on the official website of the accommodation.. We tried to complain about our stay through the booking platform customer service. They responded with a long delay. Overall, communication with the customer service was quite difficult, because due to the response time, we often had no idea whether our emails had reached the competent addressee. After a few weeks, we received a message: "Thank you for your response regarding reservation number #####. We will refund the amount of €34.38 to your credit card." The payment arrived, but when we asked what exactly the payment concerned, we did not receive a response from the customer service. If the payment was supposed to be compensation for the aforementioned shortcomings, it was disproportionately low considering the price of the accommodation, which was over €200. I would have expected a one-third discount for a room that was one-third smaller, compensation for the missing microwave, compensation for the loss of the ability to use electrical appliances in the kitchenette due to the absence of an electrical outlet near the work surface, and last but not least, a penalty for misleading information in the accommodation description (according to the description on the official website of the accomodation provider, the standard room equipment includes a dishwasher in addition to a washing machine) and for the completely unfriendly approach to the legitimate reservations of a dissatisfied customer. Therefore, I sent a complaint directly to the accommodation provider both to the official email address and via the booking platform. This time the accomodation provider ignored us completely. I don't often encounter such arrogance, and certainly not in service. I read a lot of praise here, but our experience shows that you have to be lucky to actually get what you ordered for your money. Otherwise, you don't have much chance of getting it right. I don't want to waste my efforts on complaints through consumer protection organizations, so at least I'm sending a gentle warning to other potential customers. The attached pictures make it quite clear that I'm not making this up. To not be just negative, the location in the center of Braga is perfect, the room was quite decent, although it didn't match the description in terms of size, quality and equipment, and the advertised "fantastic breakfast" was really good, but we had breakfast a little better in our previous accommodation, so it deserves the label "very good breakfast".

3.5 stars This place was a mixed bag. PROS: Fantastic location! Room seemed clean, modern, and cozy, with well functioning climate control. The bed had a foam mattress (a rare gem in PT!) CONS: As others have noted, upon closer inspection the longer you are there, the lower the quality appears. The bathroom door only closed halfway, and the door handle falls off. The flusher button panel above the toilet falls off. The counters are of cheap particle board so they are warped and damaged from sink moisture. There is a kettle and coffee machine but nowhere in the kitchen area to plug it in. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, and there didn't seem to be a button to turn the one over the stove on. Speaking of the stove, it was fairly useless as there wasn't much in the way of cookware. And when we wanted to check-in at 3:30 the woman was at lunch— which would've been fine if we'd been informed that the front door code is the same code to get into our room. However, we had to figure that out for ourselves. Since we only stayed one night (and the bed really is super comfortable!), it was okay for us. But others should be aware of the reality here.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to several maintenance and customer service issues. When we arrived, one member of staff insisted that the booking wasn’t in my name, even though it was. She came across as quite abrupt and unwelcoming, which wasn’t a great start to our stay. In contrast, another member of staff spoke excellent English, was very friendly, and was the only person who made us feel welcome. When we entered the apartment, the bathroom door handle was lying in the kitchen, and the bathroom door couldn’t be closed. We immediately contacted the property via WhatsApp because there was no one at reception, but we received no response. The following morning, I had an event to attend and needed to use the hairdryer provided in the room. However, the plug was bent and appeared to have partially melted, making it clearly unsafe and unusable. I messaged again at 8:00 a.m. to report this, and the response I received was, “I’m preparing breakfast right now.” While the hairdryer was eventually replaced, it was far too late for me to use it before I had to leave. When we checked out the next day, we mentioned the broken bathroom door handle again. We were told, “We know—the previous guests complained about it too, but we can’t do anything.” I found that response surprising, as it meant they were already aware of the issue before we arrived but still let the apartment without fixing it. Overall, the maintenance issues, poor communication, and lack of urgency in resolving problems made this a disappointing stay. I do want to acknowledge the friendly English-speaking member of staff, who was polite and helpful, but unfortunately that wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the experience.

The location is perfect and the coffee/tea/cookies on-site are nice... That's about it. The covers and a pillow were dirty with unknown fluids while the sheets had holes. The button panel for the toilet fell off. The wiring in the bathroom is faulty and communication via WhatsApp felt terse, uncaring and rather rude. Luggage was stored, but didn't realize it would just be left out in the open unattended....reasonable price and great location, but wouldn't recommend overall.

A clean room with a bathroom. Nothing more and nothing less. Service was brilliant. A basket full of breakfast delivered for the ordered time ! Great . It’s in the city and everything is around what you need.

We stayed at Signature apartments the 24th and 25th September. Just want to say that we highly recommend this apartment. Location is superb, room is very nice and everything is available. And a big + for the breakfast, they will bring it to your doorstep at the time of your choice with fresh baked and warm bread 🥰 Very good value for your money 👌

Perfect location, lots to do just around the corner and easy to navigate to wherever you want to go. Great room with plenty of space. The breakfast was fantastic! It's delivered to your room and Ana (the host) was very accommodating with times and what to include. I stayed at three different locations in Portugal for this trip, and neither of the hotels had even half as good quality to their breakfast. First day I took almost two hours to finish it because I was hungover and the food was really good...... I honestly can't praise it enough, the orange juice was Superb (definitely fresh) and both the croissants and the pain au chocolats were wonderful. The pain au chocolats were some of the best I've had! The bread was also really good and all the bread/pastries were warm when I got them, and stayed warm for a long time 🥰🥰🥰 I can't recommend this enough, it's a great place to stay if you're visiting Braga both in terms of quality and location (which is excellent!!!). P.S. To open the door from the inside, there's a button on the wall to the left and you grab hold of the metal box thingy to pull the door towards you.

I initially booked this property because the rooms looked spacious, however, as you can see from other reviews, it's not. "Don't be fooled by the pictures" is a common theme to this place. Right after I booked, I emailed the business to make sure they had an elevator and a place to store our bags. My husband has a bad knee, so we can't climb up multiple flights of stairs. They never got back to me about my questions. My guess is, they didn't want to tell me the bad news and wanted the expiration window to close.. I talked to the manager because it was only a few hours after the cancellation window closed, and it's the staff's fault for not getting back to me.. He was adamant that he didn't want to help at all. I tried to compromise by asking for a credit to his hotel, so maybe a visiting family member could stay there, he said no. Very disappointing.
