First of all this hotel is in a fantastic location. It is central to everything and a short walk the Basilica and Chain Bridge, bars and restaurants. It is also on a quiet side street. The room (executive suite) was excellent and clean, plenty of space with a very comfortable bed. We were really happy with it. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice - we had no problem getting seating, contrary to some other reviews that say it gets really busy and crowded. We did not find that to be the case. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone looking to come to Budapest especially if its their first visit.

worthy of its 4 star rating Pros |- well located: close to many restaurants, bars, markets and a 5 min walk from the chain bridge / Danube river walk and St. Stephen Basilica. |- exceptional service: staff were welcoming and accommodating, turn down service with chocolates. |- room: spacious, clean, modern. all the amenities of a 4 star hotel: robes, slippers, laundry service, and a refrigerator. They even provide a temporary fitness bag with slippers and towels for the sauna/ gym. |- the bedding has a mattress cover (!) - standard in europe is a sheet on top of the mattress and I was so happy to see the extra protection. breakfast is slightly above other 2-3 star hotels - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, granola and coffee. it didnt blow me away. they recommend eating early due to wait times. at 830 on a weekend they had plenty of tables. only con is the rooms either face the street or the courtyard. no river views. the beds were a little soft BUT they give you 3 different types of pillows to choose from. this hotel was wonderful and I cannot recommend highly enough

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Prestige Hotel in Budapest mid June 2026. When we arrived the hotel reception area was spotless and the staff made us very welcome and were extremely helpful at all times throughout our stay. Our room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space for our needs. The continental breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice from cold and cooked food. The dining area was beautifully laid out making the food very appealing and the staff kept the area very clean at all times. We used the hotel sauna early one evening which was nice, again all very clean. The hotel is situated only a 5 minute walk from the chain bridge over the Danube which was really handy as all the boat trips on the Danube depart near this point and the open top hop on / hop off tourist bus also has a stop near the chain bridge. It's also only a 5 minute walk from St Stephens Basilica, the largest church in Budapest which is surrounded by lovely restaurants. Another bonus was that the hotel was less than a 5 minute walk from Liberty Square where they were showing the football world cup on 2 giant screens, with cheap beer and wine compared to many of the other bars and restaurants in Budapest. It was a really handy stop off point for a refreshing drink returning to the Prestige hotel from our day trips as the weather was so hot, 30+ degrees throughout our 5 night stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for classy accommodation in a great location near key Budapest amenities.

We had a lovely stay at The Prestige Hotel! Everything was perfect. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. We loved the special touches, like complimentary water and chocolates. The concierge and staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful to answer any questions we had. The hotel is located very centrally, so easy to walk everywhere- many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops just moments away. The weather was very hot in Budapest during our visit and the room air conditioning was crispy cool the entire stay. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed each night. I would highly recommend The Prestige to anyone visiting Budapest!

Hotel location was great with easy access to area. It was a beautiful room and was very quiet and spacious, with comfortable bedding. The staff were amazing in booking and helping me to find things to do and places to eat during the Holidays. Would go back for sure.

A lovely stay here. Our room was clean and spacious with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The service was polite, professional and helpful. A fantastic location, close to everything you need with bars and restaurants near by plus all the sights within walking distance. Very safe when walking out at night.

Welcoming staff at reception and extremely helpful porters so willing to help with bags. Lovely taxi to the train station booked with ease by reception days beforehand. Comfortable room and bed. Very quiet surroundings so slept well. Nice breakfast offerings but staff were slow to remove used dishes despite having nothing else to do! Perfect location to walk around easily. Would recommend this very elegant hotel

The room we had wasn’t huge but it had everything we needed. The staff at the front desk were caring and helpful. We very much appreciated being able to store our luggage as our flight was an evening one. The hotel arranged their shuttle service to take us to the airport.
