I had booked a weekend with my friends to celebrate the end of my cancer treatment, directly through Azur. I was unexpectedly hospitalised the week prior so my friends organised with Azur to reschedule our weekend. If they had been honest and said no my friends could have gone without me but kind of defeated the purpose of the trip. But Azur AGREED we could reschedule and we thought all was ok. They have completely ignored our multiple phone calls and emails since. Unfortunately my friend didn’t get anything in writing but I guess we still hold hope in people’s word. So now we’ve lost thousands of dollars to these scammers. They do not deserve your patronage. Absolutely disgusting human behaviour.

Fantastic location, easy 7min walk into the heart of Byron Bay Central. Our room had a KS bed which was great with an okay ensuite. Minimal amenities- basic tea coffee, shampoo and conditioner. Whilst the location was great to get about, the neighbouring properties were extremely close with little privacy or as we experienced too noisy and active if you are seeking a quiet relaxing place. Security gate access to the the rear for on site parking, although very tight. Relaxed security to front with gates not closing properly and all pool gates left open. Totally understand the noise of all the gates constantly being opened and closed could get annoying. Pool access super easy, literally at your doorstep. Would stay again if I struggled to get accommodation elsewhere.

My mum and I recently travelled from Melbourne and stayed at Azur Byron Bay—and it was an absolutely lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making our stay feel relaxed and stress-free. The location is perfect—central to everything! We were just minutes away from cafes, shops, and the beach, which made exploring Byron Bay super convenient. The space itself was modern, clean, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the little thoughtful touches and the overall warm atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending Azur Byron Bay to all our friends and family. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Amazing place to visit and great location with easy access to the town and local beaches! Stayed in the Wreck Villa which I would highly recommend. The place was perfect and kept up to a very high standard with delightful hosts/staff who made me feel very much at home and by the end of it I felt like part of their family 😄 All the very best, Edward 👍

I saw someone left a review saying that it was basically a glorified backpackers. He was spot on! Mini cockroaches in villa. Have to take out own rubbish. Owners/management live there and make so much noise. They also smoke, which comes all through the villa. When I asked about the smoking, the response was shoulder shrugs at me and told that "I'll just have to shut my windows." There is no privacy. Fruit in the kitchen was rotted and there was crumbs all over the floor. Bare minimum effort - pool not cleaned regularly, pool cleaner machine was left out and was half in the pool the whole 10 days I was there. Shower had mould. Shower curtain stunk. Shower setting between waterfall and wall heads didn't work great. Hand wash and body wash pumps didn't work well at all - Had to buy our own. Fridge froze lunches, dinners, fruit and drinks that were left in there - very old needs to be replaced. Staff had kids that roam through with friends with foul language. Could never take a nap, sleep in or rest due to staff yelling out at each other across the property. Were slamming doors and revving cars at 7am every day. Zero respect for the fact that people had travelled and paid to be there for a break - hence zero stars. Nobody was ever at the reception. You have to connect your own Netflix. The list goes on. However we did see that they have just sold the place. Which explains why they clearly don't give a shit. Hopefully the next owners are better and whatever the current owners move onto I would like to hope is done better.

Azur is paradise in the heart of Byron Bay. Azur is so close to everything, literally just a walking distance to town and main beach. The villa is very beautiful, clean and well maintained. It gives you that Bali vibe. Staffs are friendly and welcoming they made me feel comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay there. I’ll 100% recommend Azur villas to anyone and I’ll be staying there again whenever I go back to Byron Bay on holidays.

Pool area is fantastic, location is excellent. Rooms are nicely furnished however a little skim on amenities eg only two rolls of toilet paper provided for a 3 night stay for a room that sleeps 4 people, no tea towels (that we could find) etc. Website should be updated to make it clear that the jacuzzi no longer exists as it’s very misleading. We were really looking forward to using it and were disappointed to find it wasn’t there.

We just got back from the most amazing stay at Azur in Byron Bay, and I can’t stop thinking about it. The place is absolutely gorgeous – like walking into a dreamy Pinterest board with a cozy, welcoming vibe. From the second we arrived, we felt so relaxed. The house is beautifully set up, with heaps of natural light. Fully equipped kitchen. Everything is a super clean. Suitable for long term stays as well. It felt like it’s our own little house. It’s so close to all the action in Byron great cafes, beaches, and cute little shops – but far enough away that we got to enjoy total peace and quiet. The beaches nearby are stunning; we went for walks every morning and caught sunsets. The hosts made everything super easy. We self checked in easily and started our stay right away. Azur felt like a mix of luxury and home that fit perfectly with the whole Byron experience. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning when we can go back. If you’re looking for somewhere special to recharge and soak up the best of Byron, this is the spot.
