The service at this hotel was the highlight of our visit. Friendly, professional, and welcoming. Food was great! Spa was great! Room was spacious and luxurious. Room service was fantastic and they could attend to all our needs. Couldve provided better plug points in the rooms, and the noise from the waterfront buzz could be heard occasionally but other than that a 5 star experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Cape Town. The service was warm and attentive, the room was very comfortable and spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring some of the city’s attractions. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was seamless, making the experience both relaxing and memorable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town

Stayed 4 nights at Queen Victoria with my husband. The location was perfect, it was walking distance to so much yet quiet at night for sleeping. The staff was extremely accommodating. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we loved the option to eat at the sister hotel for a harbor patio table. Great hotel for the price.

The service was top notch from everyone we encountered. The location near the waterfront was also a plus. The only reason I could not give a 5 for the rooms is the lack of outlets. While most people will research what type of plug converters to bring, most will assume there is an adequate number of plugs. This was not the case but thankfully we always bring a multi plug extension cord when we travel.

I loved the location of this hotel, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. In an effort, I believe, to accommodate my roommate and I, the hotel separated our twin sized beds. They moved a nightstand in between the beds. The lamp on that nightstand wouldn't turn off. We had to unscrew the lightbulb to sleep. This is the reason for the lower score in that category.

We had an exceptional stay at Queen Victoria Hotel due to the professional, friendly and natural service of all the staff. The location, rooms, breakfast and amenities were top notch and made our first visit to Cape Town an enjoyable and memorable occasion. Highly recommend this wonderful Hotel.

It honestly felt like we were staring with family and it was an absolute wrench to leave. Everyone was so friendly and really good at their jobs. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Check In was easy and our room was clean and so quiet. A Great nights sleep. Front reception were able to book trips for us. Penguins, Wineland's, Botanic Gardens, Table Mountain and a helicopter flight over the Coast. Camps Bay was a short Uber away and the Waterfront was a gentle 5 minute walk away. The Bar was excellent, good proposals for wine, beer and cocktails. Again with Great Friendly Service. We ate twice at Terrarium, the quality of food and choice of food was exceptional. Service again was exemplary. We did eat out on the waterfront but honestly other came close to the food on offer here. Please note although set menus are to the forefront their A La Carte offer was ideal for us. Highly recommended. Breakfast is in the same area. There is a buffet which has enough but also hot options off the menu. Coffee is freshly made for you and like the rest of the hotel service is fabulous and proactive. Always checking you have enough. This was one of our best experiences ever and it was the Staff that made it so. I do have names but don't like to single them out as it would read like a classroom register. However its a pity only allowed 5* they were so much better than that

Hip, well appointed, delightful staff, solid breakfast, bustling location. A wonderful homey place to land in Cape Town. Mountain view room is a treat.
