I booked my stay through The Dragon Circle, and the experience was wonderful. The children's play area is incredibly kid-friendly. The staff are great at taking care of the children, and our two kids had an absolute blast. They spent two hours there every day, which gave us parents plenty of alone time to enjoy the spa. A huge thank you to Amparo, Jree Jean, and the entire team for so attentively accompanying Shawn and Oliver during our perfect four-day vacation. I highly recommend Shangri-La Cebu to everyone!

My stay at Shangri-La Mactan was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, every member of the team made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued. The hotel itself is stunning, with world-class facilities, beautiful surroundings, and impeccable attention to detail. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Lito, Angelyn, Algiebaer, Jane, and Norwel for their outstanding customer service. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable. We had a lovely stay at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu! We booked this stay to surprise my parents for their birthdays, and seeing the balloons arranged in our room made it extra special. Thank you to the team for helping us make their birthdays memorable. ❤️ The breakfast buffet was also a highlight of our stay. So many options to choose from, and definitely one of the best breakfast buffets in Cebu! We really enjoyed our time here, and it was a nice place to celebrate a special occasion with family. Would definitely love to come back again!

Best family hotel. All staffs from reception, to bell boys to the restaurants are all so welcoming and accommodating. They have this huge kidzone play place for kids and attendants are so caring , attentive and kind. We really enjoyed all the resorts facilities. My son & niece enjoyed the pool , beach and kidzone. U should join their Shangrila membership to get gift like snorkel set use, ice cream or the 2hr pass from kidzone which is really the best of the 3.

We had an absolutely amazing experience staying at the Shangri-La Mactan Hotel in Cebu, Philippines! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. A special shoutout to Steffi at the front desk, who was so kind during check-in, as well as the gentlemen who seamlessly handled and delivered our baggage. The facilities and amenities are top-notch. The food was excellent, and the cultural show was a fantastic highlight. We loved the variety of free daily guest activities -- the kids had a blast with archery and we all enjoyed the 6-hole golf, mini-golf and crafts-making activities. The pool area is beautiful, made even better by the super friendly pool staff and wonderful restaurant servers who took great care of us throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was very well-kept. Overall, an incredible vacation spot that we highly recommend and look forward to staying at when we return!

Stayed a night this May 2026. Originally booked a Deluxe Double but got “upgraded” to an Ocean Wing Club room with a semi-ocean view. If you’re upgrading mainly for the view, I don’t think it’s particularly worth it — the ocean view is partially obstructed. Better to go for the Panorama View rooms instead. The rooms themselves are quite dated but properly maintained. Old showerheads, toilets, fixtures, and overall interiors. The property honestly feels like stepping into a time machine back to the ‘90s and could really use a major refresh. That being said, the overall experience was still pretty solid. The views around the property are beautiful, service was consistently warm and friendly, and the grounds were immaculately maintained. The beach was nice (albeit a bit small), with plenty of fish still swimming around the area. Still, it’s a nice place to escape with your partner or family, especially since there’s plenty to do within the resort itself to keep everyone busy and entertained.

Spent my birthday at Shangri-La, and once again, it was such a wonderful and memorable experience. ❤️ There’s something about celebrating special occasions here that makes them feel even more special, which is why Shangri-La will always hold a special place in our hearts. First of all, I would like to commend the entire team for their warm hospitality. Everyone was so welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely pleasant throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Diane from the check-in team. We needed to add more rooms to our booking, and instead of making things complicated, she went the extra mile to offer us a better deal and resolve everything right away. From the moment we checked in, I already felt reassured and well taken care of. Thank you, Diane, for making the process so smooth and stress-free! We also appreciated being granted a late checkout as a gesture of goodwill after the pool was temporarily closed due to thunder. We completely understand that safety always comes first, and we appreciated how the situation was handled and how the team made an effort to make up for the inconvenience. What truly makes a stay memorable is not just the beautiful property or the facilities, but the people who make you feel welcome and valued. The staff at Shangri-La really made a difference in our experience. Thank you for making my birthday celebration extra special. We had a lovely stay, and we look forward to coming back for more special moments with our family. Shangri-La never disappoints when it comes to making celebrations feel special! ❤️✨

What an unforgettable way to celebrate our daughter’s 4th birthday at Shangri-La Mactan! A HUGE shoutout to the amazing Tea of Spring team — Luz, Elizabeth, Marjun, Bernabe, Gavin, and Chef Liu, and Mamerto, the bartender from Tides! You guys are absolutely incredible! From the warm smiles to the genuine hospitality and top-notch service, every little detail made our experience extra special. But what truly touched our hearts was the thoughtful gesture of preparing a birthday cake for our little girl. Funny enough, our birthday girl was already knocked out before everyone could sing Happy Birthday! After spending the entire day enjoying the beach and pool, she had officially run out of birthday energy! But even though she slept through her own birthday surprise, the thoughtfulness and effort from the team meant so much to us as parents. ❤️ It’s these little gestures that turn a great experience into a beautiful memory. You didn’t just serve us a wonderful meal; you made us feel genuinely cared for. Shangri-La Mactan is beautiful, but it’s the people like you who make it truly exceptional! Thank you again, Tea of Spring team and Mamerto, for going above and beyond!
