Trip.com· a year agoWe were impressed by the size of the resort — really spacious. The overall environment Amantara created was so nice — calm and peaceful. Its design shows both aesthetic and functional values. I like the welcome massage which was comfortable and made me feel welcomed. Plus, the staff is caring, helpful and commendable because my friend had allergies out of unknown reasons and they assisted us and offered help to us. We did have an enjoyable stay!

Google· 3 weeks agoWe were invited to stay at service suites, had a great 2 nights with friends. In the suite, got kitchen laundry as well, got rooftop swimming pool,and it seems like a membership-only building, which is good for us who want some quiet space. The breakfast was fine, got different choices,but not in the same building.(crossed the street can also walk through the connect bridge.) The bed is comfy, pillows are comfortable. Overall is a pleasant stay.

Google· 6 days agoWe stayed in Suite 409, which was advertised as a river-view suite. Technically you could see the river, but only a small part of it, so I wouldn't really describe it as a proper river view. We arrived around 12 noon but weren't able to check in until 4.30pm, which was disappointing and felt like we'd lost a good part of our first day. When we eventually got into the suite, it appeared to have been prepared for somebody else, complete with a cot next to our bed. Our days of needing one of those are long gone! The suite itself was a decent size and comfortable, although the lighting was surprisingly poor and really needs improving. Breakfast was very good and the highlight for us was the 1921 House restaurant, which was superb. The swimming pool is lovely too, although quite a few of the tiles are missing grout and could do with some attention. Overall, a good hotel and we would stay again, but we've stayed in better luxury hotels and expected a little more attention to detail at this level. Unfortunately forgot to take any photos!

Google· a month ago★★★★★ We stayed at Anantara Chiang Mai for over 7 days, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The Lanna Pool Suite was definitely the icing on the cake, beautiful, private and incredibly relaxing. Having the floating breakfast served in our own pool made the experience even more special. The gym was excellent and had everything needed for a proper workout, while the in-room dining service was consistently quick and well executed. Food and drinks were another highlight. Bodhi Terrace was amazing, and the service at The Service 1921 Restaurant & Bar was brilliant throughout our stay. The Brit Bar was also absolutely on point, especially the Cosmopolitans and Gin & Tonics. Getting some hands-on experience learning how to make cocktails with the team was a particularly memorable touch. What really stood out, though, was the consistency of the team across the entire property. After staying for more than a week, you really get to see whether a hotel can maintain its standards day after day and Anantara Chiang Mai certainly did. Kudos to the entire team for making the stay so memorable. Brilliant property, excellent hospitality and an experience we would happily come back for. A very well-deserved 5 stars.

Google· a week agoQuite a mixed experience with this hotel. On the one hand, it has a really great vibe overall. On the other hand, the furniture and facilities are poorly maintained and noticeably worn out, especially in the bathroom. The staff are generally very friendly and do their best to make up for these significant issues with the outdated facilities and the inconvenience they cause. However, there is only so much they can do. The value for money is very poor at this hotel. What makes the atmosphere enjoyable is mainly the staff and the type of guests who choose to stay here. The hotel management should take the problems with the facilities, equipment, and furniture much more seriously. Until these issues are properly addressed, I cannot recommend this hotel to guests who expect to receive the level of quality they are paying for.

Google· 4 months agoWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at Anantara Chiang Mai Resort. The service here is top-notch, the restaurants serve amazing food, and the entire environment is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and clean. What impressed us the most was their exceptional efficiency. After checking out, we realized we had left some personal items in our room. The guest relations team (special thanks to Khun Gam and Khun Charles) responded to our email immediately and professionally. Not only did they secure our belongings, but they also arranged a delivery to send the parcel directly to our new hotel lobby on the very same day. We are deeply touched by their hospitality and care. I will definitely recommend this beautiful resort to all my friends!

Google· 2 weeks agoThe stay was good and met my expectations. We received a welcome drink and jasmine flowers. However, despite requesting early check-in, the room was not ready, and no temporary room was offered, which was disappointing, especially after a long journey involving two flights. As a frequent Anantara guest, I am accustomed to better assistance in such situations. On a positive note, the anniversary cake and fruit were a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent, especially the coconut pancakes, and housekeeping was outstanding. Thank you to the team for your hospitality.

Google· 4 months agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Anantara. The rooms and service made us feel as if we were in our own paradise. The food was fantastic and the Spa was delightful. I really enjoyed the view of the lobby ending into an infinity pool with wooden accents and all the amenities one would expect from a high end resort. This rates as high as the Hyatt resort on Poipu beach in Kauai and is one of my favorite resorts. I highly recommend spending time here especially if going for a romantic vacation. The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. Breakfast was international and very well done.
