Response from the property

Dear Hadley, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback following your stay at Hôtel Beauséjour Colmar. We are delighted to read that you appreciated our convenient location, with easy car access and just a short walk to Colmar’s beautiful old town. It is also especially rewarding to know that our team made such a positive impression on you through their warm welcome and helpful service. Your kind words about our staff mean a great deal to us. We also thank you for your thoughtful comments regarding the room layout and equipment. As a historic house with its own character, some of our rooms do indeed have more compact dimensions, which can be part of the charm of the property, but we understand that this may also affect comfort depending on the length of the stay. Your remarks about the bed size, the shower holder height, the accessibility of the outlets and the towels are very valuable, and we will take them into consideration as we continue to improve our guest experience. We are pleased that, overall, you found our hotel to be a good choice for a short visit, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again on a future trip to Colmar. Warm regards, Stéphane Rousset General Manager – Hôtel Beauséjour Colmar www.beausejour.fr

Response from the property

Dear Dora, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am truly sorry to read that your stay did not meet your expectations. After reviewing your reservation, I would like to clarify that the room you booked was indeed one of our Classic PMR rooms, which are fully described and illustrated with photos on our official website. The room you were assigned matches exactly the category you selected at the time of booking, including the configuration of the window. I understand that the layout may not have suited you, but we always ensure that the information shown online is accurate and transparent. During your stay, the hotel was fully booked, which unfortunately made it impossible for our team to offer an alternative room. I am sorry if this could not be explained to you in a more attentive manner. Regarding your request for wine glasses, please note that our bar is open every day until 11 pm, and we are always happy to provide glasses during its opening hours. I am sincerely sorry if this service was not offered to you as it should have been. Even if your experience did not reflect the level of hospitality we aim to provide, I thank you for your comment, as it helps us improve. I hope you will give us the opportunity to offer you a smoother and more pleasant stay in the future. Warm regards, Stéphane Rousset General Manager – Hôtel Beauséjour Colmar www.beausejour.fr
