Excellent one-night stay at CitizenM. We were pleasantly surprised to be recognised for our Bonvoy status, and even though we arrived early around 10am, we were given a room right away on the first floor facing H.C. Andersens Boulevard. At check-in, they also confirmed a 2pm late checkout, which was much appreciated. The rooms are typical of the brand—compact but very well designed, with a large king-size bed pushed against the window, an iPad to control lighting and blinds, a powerful rain shower, and plenty of USB charging points. Everything was spotless and the mattress was very comfortable. Despite being on the first floor overlooking the main road, the soundproofing was excellent and we had a peaceful night’s sleep. The location is perfect for exploring Copenhagen, just a 5-minute walk to Tivoli Gardens and the Central Station, and about 10 minutes to Strøget shopping street. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at citizenM for four nights on our recent city break to Copenhagen. The hotel is in an excellent location and it is very easy to walk to all of the sights. The staff were incredibly welcoming and explained all of the amenities really thoroughly and remained incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The views from the lounge and bar area at the top of the building were stunning! The room was modern with a huge window and lots of natural light. It wasn't a large but it had all the amenities we needed with a very comfortable bed and spacious shower. It was also incredibly quiet for a busy inner-city hotel and we slept very well! I would definitely stay here again when we return to Copenhagen!

We stayed in room 529 for 2 nights. Checkin is on the 7th floor - quick and easy. Room itself is small - no room to leave your luggage open. So we took whatever we needed and closed the luggage to save space. Bathroom is small with sink in the "hallway". The bed is big but like others have pointed out. 3-sides are closed up so you have to crawl over your hubby to go to the bathroom at night. If you're in your 20s, it's fine - but I would not suggest anyone over 50 to book this hotel (unless you dont have to share the room with anyone). Location is superb! We took the Metro from Airport to the Radhusplasden and it's across the street from the Metro. Took about 35 min one way from airport. Hotel is Centrally located with many sights in walking distance or via metro. The rooms were small but seem to be soundproof- we didn't hear our neighbors during our stay.

Stayed at citizenM Copenhagen, and my overall impression was of a hotel that knows how to create a stylish atmosphere, but seems far less interested in offering real hospitality. Check-in is done almost entirely by yourself, which feels a bit absurd for a hotel that certainly does not price itself as a budget option. You pay premium rates, the service is reduced, and the guest ends up doing the work. The lobby on the 7th floor is actually pleasant, with nice background music and a good atmosphere, but it quickly becomes clear that this is probably where most of the effort stopped. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the pillow was far too soft for my taste. The bigger issue was the room amenities: no kettle, no coffee or tea, no sugar or sweetener, and not even cups. This is not sophisticated minimalism, it is simply cost-cutting with good branding. There were bathroom products available, but the scent was not particularly appealing. On the positive side, the Wi-Fi worked well and the hotel is accessible, so not everything was disappointing. Overall, this is a hotel that seems better at looking the part than actually delivering a satisfying guest experience. I would not return.

Yes, the rooms are small, but that’s standard in Europe and Asia, so it didn’t catch me by surprise. Knowing what to expect, and understanding that this is a temporary accommodation rather than a forever home, it didn’t bother me in the slightest. Now that that’s out of the way… I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. My room was clean and perfect for one individual. Everything operated as it should and the bed was nice and comfortable. And it was QUIET, I stayed for 8 nights and the only noise I heard was the occasional knock on a neighboring room’s door, or the neighbor’s blinds being activated, which really was not a big deal considering I’ve stayed in far noisier hotels. The ambassadors are friendly and always on site manning the 24-hour lounge. It was nice having easy access to the bar and restaurant whenever I needed. Finally, the location was absolutely perfect. Just about everything is in walking distance, from the tour bus meet up spot, to Tivoli, and in/out of the streets of Copenhagen. Anything to far to walk was easily accessible from the Metro stop literally right outside the hotel. I didn’t call an uber or taxi once during my entire trip. All in all, I would highly this hotel, especially for solo travelers.

Excellent location opposite City Hall and next to Tivoli Gardens. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and were always available. Good buffet breakfast and a bar. Very large shared areas and nice and clean throughout. Rooms are small, but well laid out but wouldn’t want to stay longer than 2 or 3 days. The AC was not very efficient, so, rather warm in the room. The staff are what really made the hotel stand out and hopefully their efforts get recognized by the company as they really did make a difference.

Very clean, albeit compact rooms, artsy and modern. A bit of self-service when it comes to check-in and check-out but not a inconvenience. Go for a higher level and city/street view, can black out the room with automatic blinds, nice touch in the summer.

Hotel in fantastic location, so convenient for sightseeing and a short trip and close to metro. Airport is 25 mins away via public transport . Stayed 2 nights and room was perfect and very comfortable bed. Cleanliness was good except a few stains and things stuck to the headboard. The products in the room felt a little low quality especially the hand and body cream. There was no USB charging in the room. Service generally very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there were issues both at check in and check out where team members needed to check things on my prepaid reservation and asked me to pay again. Eventually it was sorted but required extra waiting around and confusion. I would have felt bad if this experience would have happened to a less frequent traveller or someone who spoke less English as I was able to navigate the issue. Some more internal training perhaps required for Trip reservations.Overall would stay here again for the location and room but if another close by 4* hotel was at the same price, I’d likely go there instead.
