We had a great stay at the Radisson Collection Royal. It was an excellent base for a calm and relaxing trip to Copenhagen, and we would definitely stay here again. You cannot beat the convenience. The direct train from the airport to Central Station, and the hotel is literally a 2-minute walk across the street. Most places we visited were an easy, flat walk of 15 minutes or less. Our room was on an upper floor with great views over Tivoli. The bed was very comfortable, the design was clean and simple, and everything was spotless. There was some minimal noise between 8 AM and 6 PM during the day from nearby renovation work and passing trains, but it was very minor and didn't disturb our stay at all. Evenings and nights were quiet. The staff were polite, check-in was quick, and bag storage was easy. Overall, a smooth, comfortable, and well-run hotel. Highly recommended - will definitely stay again.

I am a premium member for this hotel chain and was so excited to stay in this hotel. It is in an excellent location. Sadly, it does not live up to the standards for this hotel chain. The ‘upgraded’ room we stayed in was so tiny, hot and with poor ventilation. The bathroom has no counter space, only a sink and toilet with a small space to maybe hold a couple of toiletries, not even large enough to hold my hair brush. The shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower were empty upon arrival. If you take a shower, there is no fan in the bathroom so the entire room becomes hot and humid. It takes an hour for the AC to compensate. Under normal travel circumstances this might have gone unnoticed as we would be out touring while the room cools. But my son was ill and we stayed in the room our whole trip. There is a very small closet, and no drawer space. We did have a lovely view of the Tivoli Gardens. The minibar was not keeping items cold. Maintenance came to look into it and I was told that it was working properly as he could feel the back wall was cold, I had put items in the night before that started cold and were now room temperature, he shrugged and said it is working properly. We’ve had to call for everything. I don’t like having to be a bother and I feel like every time I pick up the phone I am annoying the front desk. But we need fresh water, additional towels, additional pillows, maintenance for the mini bar, a dr for my son… I just wish there was a better way to get what we need without feeling like I’m annoying the staff with requests. They have all been lovely with the exception of the maintenance guy. It was a drab small old hotel room. The only luxury was the price tag. I will absolutely return to Copenhagen to see what we missed while ill, but we will not be returning to this hotel.

We had a lovely experience here. The location is absolutely perfect and the staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and polite. The rooms are quite dated and drab, but comfortable and spacious enough by European standards. Overall it was a very good stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a luxurious hotel with prime location and customer service at a reasonable price.

Our stay at the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel in Copenhagen was nothing short of perfection. From the very beginning, the hotel went above and beyond. We had sent a message through Booking.com prior to our arrival, requesting a room on a higher floor if possible. The hotel completely exceeded our expectations by placing us on the very top floor—the panoramic view of the city was absolutely magnificent (as you can see in the photos!). When we entered the room, we were deeply touched to find a beautiful anniversary card from the General Manager, Niklas Jonsson, along with a delicious celebratory cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our milestone celebration feel truly special. Everything throughout our stay was flawless: The Staff: Everyone, especially the reception team, was incredibly welcoming, professional, and kind. The Breakfast: Absolutely delicious, with a wonderful variety of high-quality options to start the day. The Cleanliness: The entire hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, modern, and comfortable. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely return!

The hotel is centrally which was a bonus located and my room overlooked the Tivoli Gardens. Confusingly, it has an SAS logo on the exterior although it’s now run by a different group. No balcony and the curtains seemed quite old and dusty. I was travelling with a tour group visiting a number of Scandinavian locations and this was the first of them. I found the hotel lobby very dark, poorly lit and with no one at the reception to greet me. My room was a standard double on the 18th floor but it had a tired, 80’s decor with an odd, disorientating oversupply of tinted wall mirrors used as part of the decor. I found this overkill. The aircon did not function well although I raised the temperature and had it running overnight as the room seemed stuffy and too warm. The bed and bedding was a comfort, clean and well supplied with pillows. Nothing was in the bar fridge, only two milk portions. In the bathroom, the toilet console was loose, so when sitting on the toilet seat, the toilet bowl shook! In the shower recess there was evidence of grime. The overall impression was that the hotel has a tired, outdated look and feel. It needs a thorough renovation redo and redecoration. Its location is a winner close to shops, cafes and souvenir shops.

The Radisson Collection Royal hotel is a remodeled 1960s hotel in a central location with many amenities. We had an overall good stay in a corner room on an upper floor with a panoramic view of Copenhagen and Tivoli, even the bathroom had a great view! The staff were friendly and courteous. We had two issues, the first was the AC not cooling. The technician came and changed filters but it still wasn’t that cool, we were blessed with cool weather and the windows also brought in fresh air but if the weather was hotter then the room would not be as comfortable. Apparently all their ACs are not very powerful. The 2nd issue was not resolved and had to do with the TV continuously resetting and freezing , very annoying when trying to watch World Cup matches but the hotel kindly compensated us with breakfast. The hotel also has access to a full gym which is a nice perk. I would consider staying again.

This place really is the best hotel in CPH. Can’t be beaten for location, amenities and first class Radisson Service. As a VIP Radisson member I was upgraded to their highest level suite for free. This is standard at all Radisson properties for their highest tier, upgrades to the best room available at check-in, guaranteed. This meant that despite booking a standard room, my suite has a wonderful view of Tivoli Gardens and me and my misses throughly enjoyed our stay including the breakfast that has superb Ala Carte options and wonderful coffee. Maybe even the best coffee I’ve had anywhere in the world. This place truly is special, if you can afford the bill, definitely go for it!
