It’s a fantastic location in the heart of Copenhagen close to S trains and Metro, with plenty of nature and restaurants. The rooms are OK, but no refrigerator and only very limited space for clothes. They operate with a “per request” room cleaning concept, so unless you pre-order room service via their interactive formula you won’t get any, but to call the pre-ordered service a room cleaning would be a bit of a stretch. They only remove trash and exchange towels. No refill of coffee, no removal of used cups and glasses, no makeup of bed - nothing. I even specifically requested them to remove the old cups and refill our coffee but nothing happened. It’s a real shame that this is their attitude to service, as it really drags down the overall experience. On a positive note they do a lot of effort for the kids. They do a kids club every day with loads of activities and toys for almost all ages of kids. Breakfast options are quite Scandinavian, but good quality. Dinner at The Grill is so so, big portions. Change the service approach away from extreme minimalist, to just going to a general minimum. The tourists does expect this.

Overall A reasonably priced hotel with clean rooms, good air conditioning, and the classic Scandic-style breakfast. I would recommend it to both tourists and business travelers. Room 🛏️ I have quite high standards when it comes to hotel cleanliness, and I found this hotel to be cleaner than the average Nordic hotel. The room was comfortable, with effective air conditioning and a nice view from the window. The only negative points are, I'd say, TV has only Danish programs and the hair drier is the typical business hotel hair drier. Service 👥 The service experience was mixed. Some staff members were very friendly and helpful, while others were below expectations. For example, during check-in, I was not given any information about the hotel facilities or breakfast. I was also not informed that room cleaning had to be requested at the front desk, so my room was not cleaned on the first day. Breakfast 🥐 As with many Scandic hotels, the breakfast was a highlight — a great variety of choices with good quality ingredients. Location 🗺️ The location is very convenient. Within a 5-minute walk, there are metro stations, grocery stores (Coop, Netto, Lidl, and Rema 1000), as well as a pleasant waterfront view. 10 mins walk from Tivoli park.

Centrally located by the central train station which is nice. The room is clean and comfortable, but you hear every sound in the hallway as if it is in your room. I first thought I had failed to shut my door, but no, it was firmly shut. The breakfast was good. But as a business hotel it is crazy that they charge extra to check-in early or store luggage. I arrived early, not expecting that my room would be ready. So I was surprised when the staff said your room is ready, but it will cost you DKK 200 to gain access to your room prior to check-in time. This is simply greedy. I have never experienced this before. When I asked about holding my luggage, she pointed me to a non-secure wardrobe downstairs. I have since found out that you have to pay to securely store luggage. Astonishinly bad. Choose another hotel.

Omg! What a lovely hotel! Staff super friendly! Great location, only a stones throw from the metro and all the sights! Reasonably priced. The bedrooms were comfortable, good beds and pillows! Good sized bathroom. The breakfast was so varied and really set us up for a day of exploring..

Gerne! Hier ist eine ausführliche Bewertung auf Englisch: We stayed at Scandic Copenhagen for four days and overall had a good experience, so I would rate it **4 out of 5 stars**. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its fantastic location. It is within walking distance of many of Copenhagen's main attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, and public transportation, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated that the hotel took our requests made before arrival into consideration, which made us feel welcome from the start. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although we found them to be rather sparsely equipped. If you are looking for a room with many amenities or luxurious extras, you might find it a bit basic. However, everything essential was available, and the room was comfortable enough for our stay. One thing that guests should know is that housekeeping is only provided if you specifically request it. The room is not cleaned automatically every day, so if you would like fresh towels or your room cleaned during your stay, you need to order this service. This wasn't a major issue for us once we knew about it, but it is something worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, we enjoyed our four-night stay. The excellent location, friendly service, and the hotel's willingness to accommodate guest requests before arrival outweighed the rather basic room equipment and the housekeeping policy. We would consider staying here again when visiting Copenhagen. Room is big and cozy with great view but toilet is too bare with only two hooks and no door mat. There is no place to hang hand towel. They don’t provide bedroom slippers nor bottled water and towels look worn.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming everywhere — both at the reception and in the restaurant. We booked a four-person room for two adults and two children. Unfortunately, the room was rather small. There was one large bed and a sofa bed, whereas the pictures showed two separate large beds for the children. There was also no fridge or minibar. The biggest issue, however, was the cleanliness. The room was extremely dusty — without exaggerating, there was a carpet of dust several centimetres thick on the heating. Room cleaning is only provided upon request, which is absolutely fine from a sustainability perspective. As we were four people sharing a small room, we requested a complimentary cleaning on the third day. Unfortunately, this was rather disappointing: the beds were not made, the room was still dusty, there were still crumbs on the floor, and the bathroom had only been wiped very superficially. The beds are very soft and the pillows are too soft as well, for our comfort. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was varied and offered a good selection. It was also suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with oat milk, vegan margarine, Alpro yoghurt, coconut milk and other options. The selection was not huge, but it was more than sufficient. All in all, it was an okay experience. The friendly staff and breakfast were definitely highlights, but due to the small rooms and, above all, the lack of cleanliness, this would not be our first choice when travelling with children.

We had a great stay. All staff are helpful, kind. Its location is superb, close to many attractions and very close to the central train station so access from airport and to airport is relatively easy (5 minutes walk to the station and 14 minutes travelling by train to the airport CPH Lufthavn). Breakfast is also very good, it has many thing to eat. All breakfast staff are kind, helpful and hardworking. I would like to thank them all, especially Mr. "Nuri" who did his best during our stay. Airconditioning was also doing its job very well, we never felt cold when the outside temp was -2°C. Beds were comfortable, clean. Bathroom was clean, hot water was always available without any problem. Thanks for this nice stay.
