Great hotel. We used it while cycling the Velodyssey route. Large, secure garage to store bikes in. Friendly welcome, comfortable rooms. Location is perfect - easy walking distance to the historic town centre but not so close that it is noisy. Very helpful manager - he helped me with some French I was struggling with. I would definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Porte St Malo for one evening. The service was warm and welcoming. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The continent breakfast was excellent. The hotel location to the center of Vieux Dinan was perfect. It was but a stone's throw to the old city gate and then another 150 meters to the restaurants. We parked our car on the street without issue. Definitely recommend.

Amazing hotel with the best hosts you could wish for. Kevin and Roxana were so very kind and nothing was too much trouble. The room was 5 star luxury and spotlessly clean. They even brought in some gluten free products for my breakfast which was delicious. Only a very short walk to the ramparts, have already recommended this hotel to our family and friends. 10/10

This hotel is a bit beyond the tourist district but that means it was a quiet more residential neighbourhood. :-) We were concerned about parking but snagged a spot right outside the hotel. Restaurants and sights were an easy 10-15 minute walk (except for the Port down the steep Rue Jerzual). Kevin, the host/owner, a 4th Gen hotelier was very attentive. For some context, this is an old stone building, perhaps the oldest in the neighbourhood. WIFI in such buildings is not great. We reserved a second floor room but got a room on the main with a courtyard. We happily accepted this room as the courtyard was beautiful - it was a shame that it but it rained. Your room is in an old building which means it doesn’t have A/C and can get damp (and aggravate allergies) when it rains. Beds were good.

A fantastic little family-run hotel, in a lovely quiet part of town, but just a few minutes walk from the centre. We easily found on street parking a short distance away. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a gorgeous platter of cheese and meat in the quiet courtyard. Would definitely recommend it.

Not only is Dinan a charming town to visit, but this hotel must be the best place to stay whilst visiting. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room (an upgrade!) was beautiful. We had a small private terrace, ideal for a sunny June afternoon. Superb breakfast featuring all regional produce. Lots of healthy options. Definitely recommended - and we will definitely be back!

We are wet and cold after our bike ride and were made very welcome with dry towels and also a bit of an early check in. We really appreciated this. The hotel room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Our bikes were secured in a garage. All the staff were very friendly despite my poor French 😜. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great little hotel right on the edge of the historic centre. Perfect location to explore Dinan from. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They were also able to store my motorcycle in one of the garages which was super helpful. I'd happily stay here again the next time I'm in Dinan.
