We had a wonderful stay at The Originals Boutique Hotel du Château in Dinan. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and our room was spotless throughout our visit. While the room and bathroom were on the smaller side, everything was well maintained and thoughtfully arranged, so it never took away from the overall comfort of the stay. What really stood out was the staff. The reception team was incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They made check-in easy and were always happy to offer advice or assistance, which made the experience feel personal and friendly. The location is also fantastic. It is perfectly placed for exploring Dinan on foot, which made it easy to enjoy the town’s charming streets, historic atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings without needing to drive anywhere. Being able to step out and immediately start discovering the town was a huge plus. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a convenient location. The smaller room size is worth keeping in mind, but for us, the excellent staff and ideal setting more than made up for it. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dinan.

Its a nice hotel based on a much older building so things like Air-con are not built into the rooms, but the price is good, the breakfast options are varied and good; Some parking is available via a rear entrance to the hotel which is an extra cost but there is also a fair amount of street parking available too but less parking available on market days. Very nicely cleaned room and bathroom facilities too. And finally helpful staff at reception.

Great hotel with freindly staff. Breakfast was very nice, with everything you would want. Rooms were very clean and had all you needed. The underground carparking was an added bonus. Location was great for the ramparts, the town and the port. Went with friends and we all enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend and would go back again.

The hotel was a big disappointment with an acceptable service, good location but a poor facilities. Rooms does not have AC, my tablet is almost bigger than their TV, walls just block your sight from neighbours but you are basically living with them, bathroom is old and in poor conditions. The size of the room is really minimal. Ah! If you have a lot of luggage do not count on the tiny elevator! What makes the huge difference in my review is according to their price tag and rating.

The Hotel du Chateau in Dinan could not be more convenient, especially with its secure off-street parking right at the edge of the old town but only 5 min walk from the centre. The decor is stylish, rooms are compact but comfortable and the outdoor terrace was a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful and included high quality items. Above all the service was great with receptionist Cosmo going out of hi way with recommendations and practical help to ensure we had a great stay.

I absolutely love this place. When selecting this hotel, it is due to the proximity of downtown, which is extremely close and delightful, stroll amongst beautiful architecture and a romantic atmosphere. Mornings walks are a must, and it is a safe place regardless of time. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and especially knowledgeable about the area. It was a pleasurable experience speaking with them every morning. The front lobby and dining area are immaculate and coming from Japan. I like the touch of japanese items I saw in this hotel.
