The room was small. The water in the shower did not drain so my friend wasn’t able to take a shower. The bathroom sink . The water faucet did not work so I couldn’t wash my hand after using the toilet.

This is not a hotel, but a hostel. It is very dirty and you can feel the humidity in the rooms, the toilet is very bad, the whole building is in a very bad condition. There is no air conditioning and I did not sleep all night because of the mosquitoes. The only good location is in the center of the city.

We should have read the reviews before booking. Although only a 1 night stay, this was hugely disappointing. Two twins rooms booked, both were very poor in standard. Tiny room and shower room . dank and dark with mosquito's for company. I did not see any other rooms, but if the rooms we occupied were typical, then don't believe the images on the web site.

Our room was clean nice. Bathroom was pretty good. Location was nearly perfect. Close to the city center, but on a quiet street.

Good location, but the management is quite strange. Although it’s called a hotel, it really feels more like a hostel. We paid the full amount on Booking, including taxes and fees, but the receptionist — who, by the way, only works until 5 PM and then becomes unreachable — started calling another booking website and even contacted the owner to question our payment. Even though we showed her proof of payment, she didn’t react at all. €13 is not a big amount, but it’s a matter of principle It's strange that the hotel is trying to make money on a fictitious additional fee, rather than on quality improvements or repairs

A budget hotel in the very centre of Ghent, a short walking distance from the main sights. Good:The location is great and it is cheap (+ the room was clean). The staff was very friendly. Bad: the hotel is a bit worn down, so it really would need a renovation. Also, if you have difficulties climbing stairs, this is not the place for you. But if you just need a room for a night and you don't need your room to be luxurious and modern, then this is good value for money.

Me and my Partner stayed at Flandria hotel for 3 nights. We had a lovely stay. Owner was very helpful and doing a great job renovating the rooms. Nice big radiator to warm the room. The Breakfast area was very nice and cosy. Good value for food and nice coffee, We enjoyed Popeye and Betty Boop on the tv. Location is great, 5-10mins walk to all there is to see. Close to the Belfry and Cathedral. Thank you for our stay Dorota and James
