Guilin Rongshanhu Scenic Area is the top sight, with its lakes, pagodas, and bridges best seen on an evening stroll. The Li River offers classic karst scenery, best enjoyed on a boat trip. Add a third day for the Longji Rice Terraces and minority villages, or for hiking the Yulong River and Yangshuo countryside.
