The best time to visit Harbin is from December to February, when the city is at its coldest and the famous Ice and Snow Festival is in full swing. The hottest stretch is July, with average highs around 28°C, but the summer is still comfortable for exploring the city's parks and Russian architecture.

Nangang suits business travelers and those wanting easy metro access, with Sofitel Harbin nearby.
