This hotel is centrally located in the city of Helsinki. The room sizes vary (small and large) but were clean and comfortable. My only negative, is that there should be a non slip bath mat in the shower. Nearby there are plenty of tourist attractions plus you'll find plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops plus trains, trams and buses are only minutes away. The staff were extremely professional, friendly and kind We'd stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were so clean and organised, and the quality of the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body cream was excellent. I was impressed with the housekeeping service and the breakfast service. Various food types and the facilities were nice. The only thing it was the bed, the room does not have proper mattress it is like a topper mat so it was too soft for me. I should have asked them but I did not. Overall everything was great stay I highly recommended it

Wonderful hotel we booked on a trip.com deal. For a 1 - 3 night stay the hotel is perfect, very elegant entrance and clean throughout. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was modern, and the room even had a tiny kitchenette. I have to say the room was slightly smaller than I was expecting but for a couple + a toddler on a short stay, it suit us quite comfortably. The breakfast was rich in variety too. Hightly recommend, would stay again! One side note, the hotel pool/sauna was only open until 10AM in the morning, closed during the day, then open again after 5PM, not a deal breaker but it's nice to know ahead of time. Enjoy!

The hotel was very busy when we arrived and were not able to check in early. We were, however, able to leave our luggage in a secure room at the hotel to collect later. Check in was very busy and they operate a “ticketing system” with a form to complete before you can be allotted a room. This was a little cumbersome and took some time which was quite annoying after a long journey and a wait to check in. Finally, we received our room allocation and could settle in. The lifts were very spacious and clean and very quick. We were located on floor seven and the facilities were really good. The bathrooms are tiny though which wasn’t ideal, but there were a lot of provisions (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) although very little else. The room itself was spacious with quite quirky decor and the bed was extremely comfortable. Linens were very soft and pillows were excellent. We used the Manu restaurant in the evening which was very, very good. The food was tasty, service was attentive and the portion sizes were really generous. Breakfast was an absolute shambles! It was a huge bun fight with children running everywhere, people pushing and shoving each other out of the way to get to certain feed stations and the whole thing felt like a badly run school diner. I did not even attempt the food as I didn’t want to have to fight for it. The coffee was quite bad as were the juice options.

Very nice hotel, it was not overcrowded, pool area was empty when I was swimming. Breakfast was nice. Room was silent and clean. It had a nice view. Right behind it l, was a shopping center. I can definitely stay again if they don't increase their prices.

Nice spacious room that is well situated for exploring Helsinki. Several tram lines within short walk. Central station is only a ten minute walk away. The nearest metro station is in a mall directly behind the hotel. Several museums are within a five minute walk. We had a king room with shower. Water pressure was great and the bed was very comfortable. Each floor of the hotel is themed. Our floor was Forest fantasy. Lots of greens and wood tones. Room seemed very sound insulated- never heard anything from neighboring rooms. Would stay here again when visiting Helsinki.

I am a staying many times in Presidentti on my business trips. The rooms work well on those. However, now after a long pause we spent a long weekend in Helsinki and in the hotel with my girlfriend, and we faced the reality again. The normal rooms as totally too small for a couple for a several nights stay. This is not only a problem of Hotel Presidentti, but applies to the most of the typical hotels in Finland. There is not enough of coat hangers (need those for several coats and shirts...) or shelf space in the room, and toilets are small. We did not even have space where to lay those decorative pillows (who needs those in any case?) and those extra sleeping pillows. Toilet was so small around the toilet seat that it took some abrobatic positions for a bigger Finnish man to finalise the actions. Some other notes: Heating control was like a computer game, it took minutes to set the control to a wanted position. Also, for me the water consumption in a shower is a constant. I don't waste the water, but it takes certain amount of water to wash your hair and body. So, the restricted water flow causes only time losses form me - not any savings in water consumption. This was a lesson and a reminder, why I am continuing to use Airbnb for my private trips. Those apartments anyway offer you

Just arrived in our hotel and were asked to fill in a long registration form - no other hotel in Europe has asked us for it.|Then, when we arrived on the sixth floor, when leaving the lift, there was no direction where our room is located. We took the wrong term, unnecessary walking. Then in the room safe and Airconditioning did not work and could not be repaired. Other room was offered, but we were already unpacked so we decided to stay put. We asked for our window to be open. Very disappointing!
