The Hotel Monet is a small hotel, up a steep hill from the port and town centre: access on foot is good. The rooms are well planned, comfortable bed, all around a courtyard which is also the parking provision. There are spaces for eight cars, so I’d advise reserving in advance. The daily charge is low and you can explore the town best on foot. Parking was also available on the road outside the hotel. Breakfast is good, and good value for money. The staff are professional, efficient and supportive, but not over the top. In room facilities are fine: kettle, TV, WiFi, additional pillows, small table and chair. Everything worked well. The bathroom looks a bit tired, with its shower over the bath.

I am not sure of the cost of other 3 star hotels in Honfleur, but for the price we paid, this was only acceptable at best. It felt like an old school motel in North America. But I mean old school. They need to do a serious update on the rooms. Having said that, the proprietors were great, as was the breakfast, and n particular, it was super quiet. Birds woke us up in the morning, not traffic. Parking 8 euro, but no need to pay as there is street parking right outside the gate and we had no problem getting a spot. All in all, I would stay again, but it is one of those places that I wouldn’t recommend to a friend as 50/50 they would say “really, you sent us there”? But again, I have not compared to other prices in Honfleur in June.

Perfect flat in a central location with its own car park. The owners are very friendly and helpful, just great! We immediately felt at home. The breakfast, in buffet form, was also great. There is nothing to complain about, I can only recommend booking here.

This is a great. locally-owned hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast option was generous. It is located just a short walk from the basin, and the owners are happy to give you advice on where to eat.

A small hotel, at an excellent location with a private parking. A warm welcome, and a copious breakfast. I got good restaurant advice. Only minor point was the bed, mattress was too hard for me and ventilation of the bathroom was not working well.

We only stayed one night on our way south. Very comfortable bed and pleasant room. Worth paying extra for on site parking €8 but there is street parking right outside on a first come first served. Nice bathroom with good towels.

At first glance we were a bit disappointed but it was lovely and very quiet. 5 minutes walk into centre of town

We spent two nights in Honfleur and spent both at this location. We highly recommend Hotel Monet! The rooms are a very nice size, they are clean and modern. The bathroom was clean and had a full sized tub with a stand-up shower. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel felt safe and well looked after by the staff. The owner and his wife are who we met while staying here and they were such friendly people. I have a gluten allergy so they helped us with selecting restaurants. The recommendations were perfect. The breakfast they provide (for a small fee) is amazing - so much variety and fresh! We hope to visit Honfleur again and we would definitely stay here again too.
