In the heart of Innsbruck, the capital of the Alps, the AC Hotel Innsbruck sits close to the Main Train Station and the old town. It is the first AC Hotel in Austria and works well for exploring the city on foot or as a starting point for skiing and hiking in the surrounding region. The building dates to 1972, when it was raised for the Winter Olympic Games, and has since been fully renovated. All 187 rooms look out onto the Alps. A signature breakfast is served each morning, and the AC Lounge, with its bold lines, wooden textures and sleek decor, suits business meetings or social gatherings in the hotel’s creative atmosphere. Austrian hospitality meets Mediterranean flair here. With easy access on foot, by car or by train, the hotel serves as a base for touring Tyrol or simply taking in the city’s pleasures. The Triumphal Arch is a minute’s walk away, St. Anna Column five minutes, and the Hofburg, the Altstadt and the Golden Roof are each nine minutes on foot.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel gives a free city transport card from the government. Location is really good. Its a short walking distance from the train station 10 mins or so. Even with luggage, we could manage well. Walking around the town, restaurants, SPAR/Billa supermarket was also convenient. Staff was really good and attentive. The view is amazinggg, seeing in daily..makes you go in awe each time. Loved our stay in Innsbruck!

Unbeatable Views and a Perfect Stay! Our stay at the AC Hotel Innsbruck was nothing short of amazing. If you’re visiting the city, this is definitely the place to be! Honestly, the views of the Alps from this hotel are breathtaking. Waking up to the mountains right outside the window was the highlight of our trip. 🏔️✨ The Breakfast:The breakfast buffet is fantastic! There was such a great variety of fresh, high-quality options—it’s the perfect way to fuel up before heading out to explore. The hotel itself is modern, sleek, and very comfortable. The staff were professional and made our stay feel seamless and special. It’s perfectly situated for exploring Innsbruck, making it super easy to get around to all the main sights. Overall, an awesome stayfrom start to finish. We would definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit to the Austrian Alps!

Great location, only 6 mins walk from the train station. Great view! I can't believe how good the view is directly from my hotel room. The sauna room at level 3 is also pretty good.

Wonderful hotel with a great location. Conveniently located around about five minutes from the train station. Also close to all the city center with all the coffee, shops, restaurants, and attractions. We were relieved and surprised to find out that this hotel had AC, which was perfect for us since we were there during a heat wave! A rare find in this region. Breakfast was great, buffet style with German offerings as well as traditional American offerings. The hotel itself also had a gym which we got to use. The rooms were large and looked to newer. Beautiful views outside the window where we were. Staff were helpful and explained to us the welcome card and the different amenities. They held our luggage for us when we had a few hours before our departure. Definitely would recommend for the location, service, and amenities!

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time! The staffs are so so sweet, they decorated our room (as we were on our honeymoon). Truly appreciate that gesture. 🩷 The room had amazing mountain views. Enjoyed waking up to those snowy mountain views. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Location wise also great, walkable distance to main attractions and the Innsbruck Hbf. They also provided us with the Innsbruck Welcome Card which was great for public transport and discounts. Highly recommend!

The hotel is a 3,5 star in my view. Rooms are fine, breakfast is good. Nothing to complain, nothing stands out. A bit expensive for what you get, but that can be said for everything in Innsbruck.

We had a great stay at this Marriott hotel in Innsbruck. The room was very large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of options, and the location was very convenient—just a short walk from the city centre. Would happily stay here again.
