I would like to give a special shoutout to the hotel team, especially Jenni and Anna, for making my son’s birthday so memorable. ❤️ They actually surprised my son twice during our stay! 🎂🥳 I had initially requested a complimentary birthday cake in our room, and the hotel was kind enough to provide the cake along with a simple room decoration. I was already very happy and grateful for that. But then, during breakfast, they surprised him again with another birthday celebration at the restaurant — and this time, I didn’t request anything at all! It was completely unexpected and such a lovely gesture. 🥹❤️ My son was so happy, and as a parent, seeing his excitement really made my day. The thoughtfulness and effort from the team truly made his birthday extra special. A huge thank you to Jenni, Anna, and the entire team for the warm hospitality and for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for creating such a beautiful birthday memory for our family! ❤️

A great hotel marred by inconsistencies. The Good. 1. Situated right in front of HI Bundaran, location is unbeatable and offers good access to most parts of the city. GI mall right across the street. 2. Hotel is definitely on the older side and decor is dated, but the maintenance is top-notch and rooms are spotless. Rooms are spacious and well-designed. Beds are plushy. 3. Staff is very responsive and accommodating to requests, especially the concierge. 4. F&B is phenomenal. M.O. might not have Michelin-level fine dining, but the quality of the food at Cinnamon is top-grade, as well as service which is efficient and proactive. The Not-so-good. 1. The pool and spa is subpar for a hotel of this class. Pool is deep but small, lack of any shade means it is only comfortable in early morning/late afternoon. Sauna facilities are outdated(women's steam room is closed while men's smelled moldy). Most importantly, there is a giant LED screen in front of the pool that continually playing promotional material, ruining the serene ambiance with bright light pollution. 2. Unpleasant nickel-diming. The hotel charges a drop-off fee for every car even for guests of the hotel, even though parking would have been free with a car. It's ridiculous that I could park a car for free but taking a Grab incurs a fee. 3. Questionable business practices. Having booked with AmEx FHR, we received the $100 property credit, but the FD staff claimed that they use their hotel conversion rate from USD to IDR, whish was 5~10% lower than the official exchange rate. This practice is borderline fraudulent, and is not befitting the M.O. name. All-in-all I'd give it a 7/10, but it would have been a 9/10 if it weren't for the weird business practices that make you feel uncomfortable. These are all easy fixes and I hope MO JKT listens.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and access nearby places. Overall, the service and facilities were good, and I had a very pleasant experience. A special thanks to Mr. Joshua and the rest of the F&B team for their excellent service, warm hospitality, and attention throughout my stay. Your efforts were truly appreciated and made the experience even more enjoyable. I also had a great experience at MO Bar. A special mention to Mr. Willy, who was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He made everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of. The bar atmosphere was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the drinks and food. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the evening. Overall, I really loved my experience here and would definitely consider staying at this hotel

I recently visited this spa and had an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The facility was beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere was incredibly calming and welcoming. However, the true highlight of my visit was my treatment with an employee named Mamae. She was deeply attentive, highly professional, and tailored the session perfectly to my needs Mamae has a truly gifted touch, and her technique melted away every ounce of my stress. I left feeling completely rejuvenated, both physically and mentally, like a brand-new person. Mamae is a true asset to your team at the Mandarin Hotel in Jakarta! Thank you so much for our wonderful visit to your hotel.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with two giant shopping malls within easy walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean. While the soundproofing isn't the best, getting a room on a higher floor is a great workaround and kept things quiet enough. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. Also, don't miss the Sunday brunch buffet at Cinnamon, absolute value for money.

I truly love staying at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly polite and professional — from the security team at the front door, to the front desk staff, and even housekeeping. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. I really appreciated how well-maintained everything was. It made my stay feel relaxing and luxurious. Breakfast was also very nice, with a good selection and fresh choices to start the day. The hotel is in a very strategic location, right in the city center and close to major shopping malls like Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia — very convenient for shopping and dining. Definitely my top choice whenever I visit Jakarta. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a prime location. 💛

We had a great service at this Hotel. We stayed for 2 nights over the last weekend . Clean , spacious and great central location. The main thing for us was the services from the staffs of the hotel who are very courteous, smiling and helpful. I would like to thank the manager of Cinnamon restaurant in the hotel, who returned my handbag ( I was distracted, n had forgotten of my bag in the restaurant after our breakfast with my sisters in laws) she personally brought it up to my room on the 12 th floor. What a lovely lady. She took great care of our table during breakfast too. Greatly appreciate your kindness and service. We would definitely comeback to stay here again n recommend this place to our friends.
