The hotel has its own restaurant, plus a bar and lobby bar, so you can eat on site without going far. Nearby, Cafe Hillel, Barood, Red Heifer, Sushi Rehavia, and Adom are all within about half a mile. For a wider choice, Mahaneh Yehudah Market is a 20-minute walk and has many food stalls and casual eateries. You can also walk to the Old City in about 14 minutes, where you will find plenty of restaurants and cafés around the main sights.
The hotel sits on a quiet residential street in the Talbiya neighborhood, a green, typical Jerusalem-style area. You are within a short walk of the Old City, with the Tower of David 11 minutes away and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre 14 minutes away. The Israel Museum is a 19-minute walk, and Mahaneh Yehudah Market is 20 minutes on foot. The hotel's own restaurant and lobby bar are right there for meals and drinks. Nearby streets have bus stops, and the Damascus Gate light rail station is an 11-minute walk for getting around.
From Ben Gurion Airport, take a taxi or pre-booked transfer; the hotel is about 45 minutes away. From Jerusalem Central Bus Station, you can take a bus or taxi, as the station is nearby. The closest bus stops are Keren HaYesod/Shalom Aleichem and Jabotinsky/Shalom Aleichem, each a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The Damascus Gate Light Rail Station is an 11-minute walk away. If arriving by taxi, ask for the corner of King George Street and Keren Hayesod Street.
In the evening, you can start at the hotel's own bar or lobby bar for a relaxed drink before heading out. The Tower of David is an 11-minute walk away, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is 14 minutes, both atmospheric after dark. The Western Wall, an 18-minute walk, is especially moving in the evening. The hotel's restaurant also serves dinner, so you can stay in if you prefer.
Yes, the Prima Royale Hotel is a great base for exploring Jerusalem. The Tower of David is an 11-minute walk away, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is 14 minutes on foot. The Damascus Gate, Western Wall, and Dome of the Rock are each about an 18-19 minute walk, so the Old City is easily reachable without transport. The Israel Museum and Mahaneh Yehudah Market are also within a 20-minute walk. For sights farther out, like Bethlehem or the Dead Sea, the Jerusalem Central Bus Station is nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant and bar make it easy to relax after a day out.
