I found the hosts very welcoming and liked staying here. I stayed only 2 nights and could’ve stayed longer. I liked backing access to be a kitchen and there was free laundry which was really nice. I found the room to be a nice size for just me and enjoyed the open windows in the corridor that left in a cool ocean breeze. The guesthouse is very close to the beach and there’s Café Coworo down the road that has a foot spa and good coffee!I walked about 20 min from Kamakura station to get there but you can take a bus to get you closer and it’s not very far from the enoden line that you can take to Enoshima. I also walked about 20 min from the guesthouse to see the big Buddha statue.Overall, I appreciated the hospitality and would stay here again for sure :)

We spent the best days of our trip at @plageyugaihama. Miki is simply amazing... She is always trying to help people, really friendly and close. She made us feel like at home. Regarding the hostel, is very clean, beds are comfortable, and the place is very quiet. Perfect for resting and the beach is at few meters. So we totally recommend this place for everyone who comes to Kamakura. Furthermore, it's next to the train station Yuigahama!

Good location, but... Very very basic. Lack of comfort and space. The window curtain is far too small and lets 30% of the light in. Why?The shower and toilet are separate from the rooms. No space in the room to leave our luggage. Not sure who is the staff or guests. It feels like we are in someone´s house. (Although everyone was very friendly)I would rather look for a more comfortable place than coming back to this guest house.

Manager is very kind. Very helpful to keep luggage before and after check in. Place very close to beach. Recommend for anyone looking to relax here.

The location is very close to the seaside, and you can take a walk in the morning or evening. There is also a ramen shop nearby that operates until 12 am, and you can choose to have dinner or late-night snack there.

Sadly our stay at this accommodation was very unpleasant. Everything was extremely dirty, and when we arrived, the living room was in complete disorder. The entire place is actually the owner’s house, where he lives and invites people over for parties. The worst part, however, was the mold. It was all over the house, and our room was completely moldy and smelled terrible. I honestly believe it is not healthy to stay in such an environment. The photos of the accommodation do not reflect reality at all. The host himself is friendly, but he doesn’t do enough to improve the condition of the property. I would say this place might have been nice in the past, but I definitely do not recommend booking it to anyone, and I honestly don’t understand how this is still being allowed to operate.

This is actually a house of multiple floors, converted to a guesthouse. Room-wise, it was sufficient for a night stay. It was quiet the night I was there. The room had limited space for walking. The sofa seat should be removed. The charger was inconveniently located at a corner. I did not know how to use room heater. Bathrooms were on the first floor, while toilets were available at every floor. I did not have any problem using the shared toilets, although there were other guests. Free towel was available near the bathrooms. There was a signboard that said the staff was not around. After dropping my backpack at the unguarded accommodation, where the front door was left unlocked, I returned to find someone sleeping on the sofa. The guy looked shock that I just open the door, without knocking. Honestly, I thought no one was around, as the signboard was still left on the door. There was a woman and a child there, totally ignoring me. I was told by the guy of my room and the rules of using the place. And then, I was left on my own. The living room was a mess. So was the kitchen. Not sure how old was the water in the container for drinking. It was nice that there were free umbrellas for us to use. There was a nearby convenient store and enoden station.
