Unfortunately, our stay did not meet the high standards we experienced throughout Japan. The hotel felt old and poorly maintained, and our room was not properly clean. The wallpaper was torn in several places, giving the room a neglected appearance. The most disappointing part of our stay, however, was the lack of assistance in an urgent situation. Due to a health emergency involving a family member in Italy, we needed to make or at least receive an international phone call. We were told that the hotel could neither make outgoing international calls nor receive incoming ones for guests. In a situation like this, we expected much more support and flexibility from the staff. The location is good, but overall our experience was well below our expectations, and unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel makes visiting the sites easy. A comfortable 20 min walk from the railway station. I was surprised to find tea coffee and snacks were available during the day , a free pour of wine for two hours and soup and rice for a late snack, all on the house. The Onsen was neat and tidy and laundry facilities were available. We hired bikes one day and easily rode to the highlighted districts. I would stay here again.

This was one of our favorite hotels in Japan. Fantastic location, wonderful to have the lounge/dining area available with refreshments to relax between activities. The spa is a treat, I went there many times a day. The rooms were not large but among the nicest and most spacious of all the places we stayed. The staff went above and beyond to help us get out of a pickle with our reservation and were generally helpful and efficient.

Stayed here for 3 nights during my trip to Kanazawa and was very happy with the choice. The location is excellent – within walking distance of Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden and many of the city's main attractions. I hardly needed to use public transport during my stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained.One of the standout features was the complimentary lounge service. It was nice to be able to stop by for coffee, drinks and light refreshments after a day of sightseeing. The staff were courteous and efficient throughout my stay. Overall, Hotel Intergate Kanazawa offers excellent value for money, a convenient location and a comfortable stay. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Kanazawa.

I stayed here for four nights. The hotel really makes sure you’re never hungry , there are food services available throughout the day. The room was spacious, and the bathtub was large enough to fully stretch out, unlike many hotels in Tokyo. Cleanliness was excellent. The location is convenient, within walking distance to Kanazawa station and major attractions. If I will back to Kanazawa, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s a very modern hotel. However, I must say very disappointed with the level of service from the staff. It was always a no at first and had to argue to get what we wanted. It’s is a shame because speaking to other people in the hotel they felt the same. 10pm was like a curfew in the bar area. If by mistake you did not clear your table (due to a genuine mistake) you were told off by the headmaster 😞. How sad that this is not the culture that I have experienced on the rest of my travels in a beautiful country where everyone is so helpful, generous and kind.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Almost makes you sad they also use a self check in and checkout system. Elaborate Japanese and western breakfast along with a lounge that provides free drinks and snacks which vary depending on the time of day. To finish it off, walking distance of the main sights. The rooms themselves are large and easily accommodate full size luggage and provides a decent sized private bath. There’s also a communual bath (pin entry for women).

Conveniently located in relation to the train station and major attractions the Intergate offers good size rooms and has its own baths. The hospitality lounge serves happy hour wine and snacks each evening. Daytime local specialty drip filter coffee is available. The breakfast buffet offers a good range of vegetables and veg options. Staff are helpful and courteous. Self checkout is available from your room and check in is self managed.
