Arriving at the hotel in our hire car was a hassle, as we were told not to leave it unattended, so my husband had to wait withit while I went to check in, but after waiting in line for over 20 minutes, I was told my husband had to be present since the booking was in his name. When I asked if I could fetch him and skip the line, I was told no, so he had to queue all over again, the checkin process took us over an hour. The self check-in didn’t work for us, and the staff chatted among themselves while the line grew. Check-in service was below average, though our room attendant was wonderful. |The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, but there was no hot water in the mornings—only at night. There was no kettle for coffee or tea, no complimentary water, and nothing extra to make you want to return. I didn't even get the room I had booked. I paid for a room with a view to the strip and i ended up with a view of a roof top. We were told the hotel was full due to the event that was being run. |The whole place smelled of stale smoke, even on non-smoking floors. The location was great, right in the center next to Paris and opposite the Bellagio. As for the pool area, despite paying a hotel amenities fee, cushioned sun lounges required an extra charge—no wonder they sat empty while the uncomfortable ones were full. We won’t be coming back.

Showed up for a conference after 5pm. Saw a sign that says there is a cost for check in before 4pm. After multiple failed attempts to check in from different reservations in our group. I was able to check in and was told my room wasn’t ready at 630pm. Left and went to an event and called the main line and spoke with someone to check my room status because the lines are out the door. I was told my room wasn’t ready at ready and to go to the kiosk. Showed up at kiosk at almost 8pm and it then told me to find an attendant. So back in line waiting to get up to get some help. No way I plan on sending any money through their machines while they force me to wait for my room. Theres no way they aren’t prepared for this amount of guests when you compare our attendance to more recent events. Definitely not happy and left a bad taste in my mouth for my first visit to this city. Could really have someone handing drinks out to everyone in line.

My experience with this hotel was generally positive. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and everything else was fine. However, there was one issue that I was not happy with. I specifically booked a Bellagio view room with two queen beds for four guests because I wanted to make sure everyone would have a proper bed to sleep in, even though it cost more. When I arrived, I was given a room with one king bed instead. The hotel provided an extra rollaway bed, which meant one person still had to sleep on the sofa. They told me that if I wanted to switch to the room type I originally booked, I would need to go down to the front desk the next day between noon and 4 PM to request a room change. I found this very inconvenient because I was on vacation and out enjoying my day. I did not want to interrupt my plans and rush back to the hotel just to change rooms. What I don’t understand is why I had to stay in a king room and then switch later when I had already booked and paid for a room with two queen beds for all four nights. If I selected and paid extra for that room type, it should have been reserved and available upon arrival. After the trip, I contacted Trip.com regarding this issue. I was very pleased that they handled the situation quickly and resolved it as soon as possible.

The Horseshoe is a great property if you can get it for a good price. The rooms are spacious, and despite the bathroom being a bit dated, it is generally clean. The location is very convenient and the property is connected with the Paris resort. I would opt for a different property if this property is not competitively priced. It is a a more value proposition for Vegas, but one that is convenient, clean, and allows you to spend your money on all the food and attractions that the city has to offer. The check-in experience should definitely be improved during peak times though.

Above average hotel for the strip. The casino is great. Close to walking for more food options. around the corner from Ole Reds, Alexxus, and Caesars. Food Hall choices were very limited. Onsite arcade, bowling and putt putt if you have kids. It’s a middle of the road hotel. Great room and super quiet. Very clean and nice linens. I would stay here again for the value but not luxury.

The room was very spacious, and the location was excellent. It is close to the Strip, Paris Las Vegas, the Bellagio fountains, and the O by Cirque du Soleil theater (about an 11-minute walk). This hotel shares a parking garage with Paris Las Vegas. At first, the parking system felt a bit confusing, but it was actually quite easy to navigate as long as you didn’t get lost on the casino floor. Better signage directing guests to the garage would have been helpful. The hotel charges a $20 parking fee and a $45 resort fee, which is fairly standard in Las Vegas, even if you don’t use the pool. I didn’t look into the details, but there appeared to be additional charges for certain pool amenities or services. Guests planning to use the pool may want to check the costs in advance. The receptionist was very kind, and the self-service kiosk allows guests to obtain their room keys without waiting in line at the front desk. For parking, you receive a ticket when entering the garage, but you can link it to your room and use your room key instead of a credit card when exiting. You can also check out online and pay any remaining charges electronically, which makes the process very convenient. There is no tea kettle or coffee maker in the room, which was inconvenient for me. Just something to be aware of when booking.

Ballys Hotel consistently provides us with numerous exceptional and unique memories, particularly during our frequent visits. The hotel’s ambiance is characterized by a diverse array of coprful, less lit-up areas. From there, we have always chosen to dine at one of the most outstanding and exquisite fine Italian dining establishments. It is an ideal venue for family gatherings or romantic dates. The hotel’s charm and ambiance have remained unchanged for years, making it a must-visit destination. We highly recommend exploring more of its offerings! I guarantee you wouldn’t going be disappointed whenever you wanted have beet Italian fine dining come eat over here!
