Everything was going fine until the lend ironing machine was taken away. I asked for another one and I’ve been told there was no. I complained and told the réception that since they took it out my room it was their duty to find me another one. The reception lady cut me off and would not let me talk like a 6 years old kid. They found one brought it to me, a man knocked at my door and after he handed me the machine he was like “I warn you blablabla” like if I was a kid getting a lesson. I closed the door, I used it and was nice enough to call once done so that they can had it someone else. They knocked at my door and to get it bd surprise they came with a little help… 3 policeman were here to make sure I’d quit the hotel with the next 20 min while I was supposed to stay one more night… so the reception lady do not give a shit about customer service, the handyman come to give me a lesson cause I was a bad bad boy… and I’m the one kicked out?! I was no joke… Worst experience I ever had, worst service I’ve ever experienced. Complete shit show!

The location is excellent, right on the town’s main square. A unique bookstore set inside a cathedral is just a one-minute walk away. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main station—simply head straight toward the old bridge, continue along the shopping street, and you’ll arrive at the square. Maastricht is a charming and very walkable town, with plenty of outdoor cafés perfect for relaxing in the sun and people-watching. My room was spacious, soundproof, and overlooked a lively shopping street, which I really enjoyed. The staff at reception and in the breakfast room were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the view over the main square and the two churches made it even more enjoyable.

I've stayed at this hotel maybe 6 or 7 times now visiting family that live in Alkmaar. Whilst this time it seems there has been a large change in people there, it was just as friendly and comfortable as ever. I opted for the "Green" room service (no change of towels/sheets etc for 2 nights and as ever, they rewarded me with a free beer each night. Good comfy room, excellent breakfast and so close to the town centre, I highly recommend staying here

I strongly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent. Very close to everything we wanted to see. There are many restaurants nearby and others not so far away. It was very quiet. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. I'm very pleased.

My stay at Hotel Ducasque in Maastricht was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a memorable experience. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Maastricht, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city’s charming streets, shops, and cultural highlights. Everything felt within walking distance, yet the hotel itself maintained a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The room was beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with a touch of classic elegance. It was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the level of service. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was recommendations for local restaurants or assistance with any request, they went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, varied, and delicious, offering a great start to the day. The quality of the food and the cozy ambiance made it something to look forward to each morning. Overall, Hotel Ducasque is a perfect choice for anyone visiting Maastricht. Whether you’re traveling for leisure or business, it offers a wonderful combination of comfort, style, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again.

Location is 7*, just 20 steps away from André Rieu where we attended his concert! Service was impeccable 👌 Manon was AMAZING! Super friendly, helpful always with a beautiful smile😍 Rooms are a bit small but who cares when you're out and about exploring Maastricht 🤩 Highly highly recommend 🙌

Location, rooms, staff, everything was amazing. We booked this hotel as a last minute option. So, I actually did not expect much, but everything was great. Room and bathroom are large enough. There were coffee machine, kettle, tea, coffee and cookies in the room. They put a little welcome card postal and lovely Christmas gift for tree decoration and it was so lovely to have this kind of small gestures. Cleaning was also good. If I come back to Maastricht, I would like to definitely stay in this hotel again.

Great hotel! It was almost empty when we were there so they upgrade our room. Clean and super well placed in the city. Only improvement could be done in the bathroom, the shower curtain is old and not really easy to move (and a bit rusty) Other than this, great hotel!
