The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there’s no microwaves in the rooms or on the property at all and the mini fridge has no freezer component and I couldn’t fit my own stuff in there. Also, they have no washer and dryer. The reviews about the rooms and outdated showers and stuff I can see but I loved my room. Very spacious, great view. Easy and cute beach access. Pool area amazing. Staff was friendly. Ambience was nice. I enjoyed my stay and I will stay again. I feel like it was worth the price. I just hate the no microwave

The hotel’s design is calming and elegant. The quality of the food was very good. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There are two pools and one is adults only. Great beachfront location with chairs and umbrellas. Good customer service from the staff. There’s a trolley stop near the hotel that we took to different restaurants. Trolleys are free and readily available.

I personally made reservations months in advance to stay here for my bachelorette trip. They then struggled to find the reservation a month later when I called to ask a few questions. This hotel quoted me a total that was supposed to include all taxes and fees, however once charged, the bill was significantly over the original quoted price. When I called to speak with someone about the issue, they promised to call me back within 24-48 hours. I’ve since called 3 times and been told my inquiry was being expedited and the manager notified. Here we are two weeks later and I still have not received any phone call or other correspondence regarding this issue. Still overcharged significantly from original quoted price. I would never recommend staying here to anyone for this reason alone. The pool towel policy is also ridiculous and the staff guarding the towels are exceptionally rude. You would think you could leave your pool towels in the room. But if you do not return them to the specified bin, while an employee is watching, they will charge you $50. And you have to have a “towel card,” to even get a towel. Which the front desk never provided for our stay until we had to go all the way back to the front from the pool to try and acquire them. For a group of 6 ladies. Very inconvenient. Horrible experience overall.

It’s nice to sit by the pool and the beach but you should have free cold water. And the hotel needs a renovation . The showers were gross. There was annoying beeping in room 1728. And there were two unopened m and m mini’s on top of the cabinet.

The service here is hit or miss, the hotel obviously knows this and yet nothing changes. The valet service is horrible and overpriced since the customer service is 0 stars. The bellman 5 stars. Room service 5 stars. The front desk does not offer the best service either, they will give you the runaround when it comes to any advertised promotional product ex: free food and beverage credit, which is crazy because no other hotel does this! When you book a hotel room package at other hotels and they offer a special or credit and that is what you booked, they honor it ! When it is slow they give you an upgraded room. Here they give you a hard time. Crazy! Anyway, after a long flight and then dealing with this hassle of a hotel, it is too much. Stay down the street at the Eden Roc or another hotel. The customer service is better. Also the one time we stayed there we had a back pack with us as we walked through the pool area, it was a laptop bag for work, and they acted like we were sneaking into the pool area because we were dressed semi business casual and not vacation attire. Sorry, this hotel is not friendly or accomodating to business travelers.

I am a business guest who arrives and checks in and goes starlight to work. After a long flight to have a 2+ hour fight with the check in staff to receive a room that was fully paid for was more than unacceptable. There was no competent manager on site before 8am and no to even talk to - then the manager comes and blames me and bookings.com for their mess up. To top it off she then told me I have to go across the road to their inferior cheaper property after I have written confirmation from them that I booked their premium property and a premium room. I was then told I will have to cancel my booking and pay again at a higher rate. I stood my ground and finally after well over two hours got a room. I got upstairs and the rooms smells of mould - I didn’t even have time to get a new room yet as I had to go straight to work as I was already late - I travel the world every week for work and I have never had such poor service or negative experience. Be careful when booking with them!! I have now just returned after a long day and the room hasn’t been serviced. I called reception half a dozen times with no answer so I went down and spoke ro them and asked them to service my room. After a brief argument they said they would. I left for a couple of hours and it still hasn’t been serviced. I asked again and they said they would - still waiting…. Update - as a 75 -100 day per annum customer - I am now deciding wether to check out and find another hotel that cares about its guests - let’s wait and see - update to follow Update after 2.5 hours : The first person to acknowledge and apologise was the room Service attendant- she came to my door 2.5 hours later and supplied me with fresh items and apologised and guaranteed that the room will be serviced properly in the morning - she took responsibility for the failure of the manager and hotel front desk staff - she needs a promotion The room still has a strong mouldy smell in the air that actually hurts your lungs after a while. I have stayed here a few times and I think something is going wrong with the management and leadership - understaffing and poor attitude, poor culture, and poor training to start with - let’s see how things progress Updates to follow

The location is great and the pool and beach access as well. The room is very spacious, but everything else that has to do with service seriously lacks. My room was not clean, to the point that I could not even walk barefoot. The floor was sandy, probably from the door to the balcony being opened at some point, the counters in the room were dusty and dirty and the shower had hair in it. I saw this only very late at night when I finally got to the room after just dropping off my things earlier and did not have the patience to call and ask for someone to come clean. When I mentioned this at checkout the following day all I got in response was a meek "sorry". My nephew slipped on wet floor that was not marked in any way and all we got when we complained was a meek "sorry". While there is no sign in the pool that says you cannot have alcohol of your own, they still sent security to take out bottle, which is understandable, but the guy did not identify himself or say anything at all before taking the bottle walking away. He could have been anyone. And again, when we complained about how this was handled, not about the fact that we couldn't have our own drinks, all we got was a "sorry". Customer service in this hotel is very much lacking.

The hotel was nice and clean. I did not like that the bellhops asked for a tip and the bartender added a tip to the bill without us knowing. Absolutely shocked that the master king bedroom did not have a door. That was always for me and my husband traveling with our teens. No place to eat nearby either.
