⸻ Today, on my way home from work, the wound on my hand suddenly reopened and started bleeding heavily. Unfortunately, I had already used my last bandage, and I happened to be near The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal. Feeling helpless, I asked two waiters at the entrance if they could help. Without hesitation, they immediately went to find bandages for me. One of the young waiters then carefully cleaned my wound, disinfected it, and dressed it with incredible patience and professionalism. He even took the time to clean all the blood from both of my hands, which helped calm me down during a very stressful moment. Sadly, I was so flustered that I only remember one of the gentlemen’s name sounding something like Sarrh (I’m not sure of the spelling). He was a Black gentleman with a warm smile. The other handsome young waiter had already gone back to work before I had the chance to ask his name. I wasn’t even a guest at the hotel, yet they treated me with such genuine kindness, compassion, and care. Their willingness to help a stranger in need meant so much to me, and I will never forget it. My heartfelt thanks to these two wonderful staff members and to The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal for having such an exceptional team. Five stars are simply not enough to express my gratitude.

I had a great 3 night stay here, the hotel is perfect in every way and the large JR suite i was given was fantastic. The hotel has a lot of small touches that make it true a 5 star experience. The toilets are awesome! Housing keeping is also incredible. Max at the concierge helped get a reservation to a hard to book restaurant which I appreciated. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful first stay at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal and were genuinely impressed by the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the service from the front desk and doormen, the beautiful Palm Court, our experience at Maison Boulud, and the pool and gym facilities. Housekeeping and turndown service were also very good overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and attention to detail. That said, our stay was not without an issue. We had arranged and confirmed a 4:00 PM late checkout, but a housekeeper entered our room twice without knocking or otherwise notifying us beforehand, once around 3:00 PM and again shortly before our 4:00 PM checkout. There was also no apology or acknowledgment at the time, and the second interruption was particularly uncomfortable for my partner, who was pressured to leave by the housekeeper. I did raise the issue with management, and I have to say that the response was excellent. The Ritz-Carlton took the matter very seriously, responded immediately, acknowledged exactly what had happened, and offered a very generous resolution. The way management handled the situation gave us confidence that this was treated as an isolated incident rather than something they were going to dismiss or minimize. Mistakes can happen and what distinguishes a great hotel is how it responds when something goes wrong. We were very impressed with the response from management and will absolutely be returning.

The location is incredible—you’re within walking distance of so much of downtown Montreal, making it the perfect place to stay while exploring the city. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the level of service. It was unmatched. Before we even walked through the doors, the staff already knew every member of our family by name and who we were. Throughout our stay, they addressed each of us personally, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. They had thoughtful gifts and surprises waiting for our children and went above and beyond to make them feel special. As a parent, seeing the amount of kindness, patience, and love they showed our children meant so much to us. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, approachable, warm, and incredibly helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much to ask, and the personalized attention made the entire experience unforgettable. Beautiful hotels are easy to find, but this level of hospitality is rare. They made us feel less like guests and more like family. This is without a doubt the only place I’ll stay whenever we visit Montreal. An exceptional experience from beginning to end.

We had a wonderful night at the Ritz. The service was exceptional, the room was gorgeous, and we loved being pampered during our time there. When asked, we informed the hotel that our stay was in celebration of our wedding anniversary, and a delicious little chocolate mousse cake was delivered to our room a couple of hours after we checked in. Such a nice touch! We are not usually this extravagant in terms of our hotel choice, but we never felt out of place. We felt as though we were treated like well-loved regulars at the hotel. It allowed us to relax and totally enjoy our stay, very much appreciated by a couple of parents of young children who haven't had time to themselves in a long time!!!

} Our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel is stunning, elegant, and truly lives up to its luxury reputation. The location is perfect — close to everything while still feeling peaceful and exclusive. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt refined and well thought out. What made our experience even more special was the outstanding customer service. The staff were warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We were also incredibly grateful for the complimentary upgrade, which made our experience even more memorable and luxurious. The atmosphere of the hotel is timeless and sophisticated, and every part of the property — from the lobby to the spa and overall amenities — was impeccably maintained. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We cannot wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Montreal and looking for a true luxury experience

I've been to 4 weddings and this venue was the best out of all of them. Cockatil hour was by far the best at this place. The servers kept coming out with full platters of food and the bartenders were super friendly. The drinks were also nicely mixed. The reception bar was twice as impressive as the outdoor bar during cocktail hour and the bartenders were hilarious but also mega talented. Thank you to Omega Design Events for the furniture rental. All in all, this venue is spectacular for weddings.

We recently visited the bar at The Ritz-Carlton Montreal with a friend, and we had such a lovely experience. The atmosphere was beautiful — live music, a calm and relaxing ambiance, and an absolutely stunning lobby interior. Everything felt elegant, sophisticated, and truly reflected the level of the hotel. The service was also wonderful. The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever being intrusive. It’s a beautiful place to spend an evening with a friend, enjoy the atmosphere, and simply relax. We will definitely be coming back!
