For a hotel with the reputation and pricing of Bayerischer Hof, our stay was extremely disappointing. I stayed at Bayerischer Hof on November 10th 2025 to November 11th 2025, for $522. In my experience, the room did not match what I understood from the booking/photos. We booked a room that, based on the listing and photos, appeared to include both a king bed and a separate twin bed, but were given only one king bed. When we raised the issue, we did not feel the staff handled our concerns appropriately. We also tried to book spa treatments during our stay but were told none were available because the therapist was absent. As a result, we were unable to use the spa services at all, which was disappointing for a luxury hotel. The room itself was dark, the couches appeared stained, and the décor did not meet our expectations for the price paid. One of the most upsetting moments was when no assistance was offered with luggage down the stairs. A staff member said, "I see you are able to do it yourself, so you won't need any help," and walked away. I also contacted customer service afterward and did not receive a response. Based on our experience, we felt the hotel did not provide the level of service we expected from a five-star property and would not recommend it. I have had this review challenged and removed multiple times despite describing my firsthand experience, which I find very concerning.

At Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the check-in process was extremely delayed, and I did not receive my room until 3:30 p.m. My luggage was also delivered very late, arriving in the room close to 4:00 p.m. The service lacked professionalism and showed little care for guests. The staff should improve their performance, as this delay caused me to arrive late to the Oktoberfest event.

The hotel has an excellent location, and the property itself is beautiful. The rooms, restaurants, and overall atmosphere are all of a very high standard. We stayed at the hotel for three nights and booked two rooms. We had dinner once at Garden restaurant on the first floor, and the food was delicious , the risotto was especially good and waiter Pehlevan was so nice person. We also had lunch on the rooftop terrace, and once again, everything was very tasty and the view ❤️ Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. However, there was one thing that unfortunately disappointed us. One of the rooms was booked under my son’s name, and he was staying at the hotel on his birthday. Unfortunately, the hotel did not acknowledge his birthday in any way , we didn’t even receive a small complimentary card or note in the room.|For a luxury five-star hotel, we were quite surprised by this. Attention to detail and personalized service are exactly what guests expect from this level of hospitality. Even a small gesture would have made the stay more special and would have shown that the hotel pays attention to its guests and their important occasions. It was a small but noticeable missed opportunity for an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Fantastic place to stay center Munich area. Plenty of sites to see, places to eat, and explore near by. Less than five minute walk from the subway, walking tours, and grab a tasty beer. Several bars/restaurants on premise. Concierge super helpful. Room was fabulous. Outdoor pool on the roof, small fitness center.

Amazing top class hotel in best location in Munich! Near Marienplatz, shopping and good restaurants. High quality rooms linen and furnishings. Cleanliness everywhere. Exceptional service in every respect and for every request. Concierge services and recommendations were wonderful. Best place to stay in Munchen

This is a fantastic luxury hotel with great amenities and beautiful rooms. The location worked well for our trip and was simple walking distance. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious and the sixth floor location was a great way to start the day. A credit for some room service made late night pizza and cheesecake all the better.

We recently stayed at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich. The location is excellent in the city center. The service provided by the staff was excellent both before and during our stay. The hotel accommodated our request for early check in. Tim Eidinger, the head concierge, was extremely helpful with special requests before and during our stay. He is one of the best concierges I have encountered in many five star hotels. The breakfast was outstanding each day. When we return to Munich, we will return to the Bayerischer Hof, an elegant classic. Special thanks to Tim, chief concierge!

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The hotel itself is impressive — historic, elegant, and truly unique. The overall atmosphere reflects its long tradition and character. Breakfast was generally very good, with high-quality products; however, I would have appreciated a wider variety of vegetables. Our room was comfortable and had a pleasant view of the street. One thing we found unusual was the sauna area. Not only inside the sauna but also in the shared spaces, men were walking completely naked, which felt uncomfortable for us. Unfortunately, we experienced a serious issue with payment. The reception blocked the room price on our card three times. At check-out, they charged the full amount again instead of using the previously blocked funds. The extra money — more than 3,400 euros — has already been deducted from our card. We leave the hotel 2 weeks ago, and informed hotel about payment issues immediately. We contacted customer support, and they informed us that they would return to our case on April 7th. However, today is April 14th, and we still have not received any response or update. This lack of communication is very disappointing and concerning.
